The Beacon did not disappoint:) Upon entering, I was greeted immediately with a smile and was attended too upon sitting down. Everyone was incredibly kind and made us feel so welcome! I ordered the Pineapple Upside Down pancakes and they literally were the best things on earth! My boys both sampled the cinnamon roll pancakes and loved them! The presentation on the Smiley Face pancakes for kids was the cutest thing ever. Great food and great staff!”

“Golden Krust offers a small buffet of food choices, baked goods and other items such as Caribbean seasonings and drinks to purchase. I was happy to see that they offered a variety of patties: traditional, mild, spinach, chicken, etc. I love a good Jamaican beef patty, so I was sold. The crust was flakey and the item itself was pretty large. However, the pocket of meat inside was definitely not as densely packed as the images on the menu screen. It was still very enjoyable and I would come back to eat one again.”

Extra star for the awesome little grill that comes with the Pu Pu Platter. Our server Jenni, was nice and took good care of us. “My family left the restaurant feeling happy and satisfied. I think it was a good value for the price paid. I enjoyed the refried beans a lot. I think the chips would be a lot better with more salt added. Cilantro garnish for flavor and color would be a welcome addition to the plates. The carved and painted chairs and tables provided an element of Mexican atmosphere to an otherwise plain strip mall shopping center. They were unique and different. I think adding some string lights to the ceiling would really add that extra element. The server was kind and attentive.”

She kept checking on us and one of my daughters came in late and loved that Emma knew every one of our names! She was so professional and personable! I hope she's here the next time we come! We were here from 11:30 AM until 5 PM! Excellent service! Aaliyah checked us in at the front when we came in! She was amazing. She was so helpful all day long and with just the best attitude and smiles! I hope she's here next time as well.! She remembered who all of us were as well! “This place is a hidden gem, I can't believe it's not getting more attention. I can't review for all the food cause I've only had their pizza and compared to others in the area this pizza is very good. I had the margherita, and the crust is perfectly crispy. The sauce taste fresh and homemade, and they use good quality cheese. My husband had one with chicken, and he also agreed it's one of the better pizzeria's in the area. The place even has a full bar as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly and it's very clean. This place is underrated, and it should have the buzz that others have but don’t deserve. I intend to go back and try a pasta dish or one of their sandwiches. I hope they don't disappoint, but if they do, I'll let you know.”

“After my infusion I decided to look for some taco tuesday specials. Although this place didn't have one, I decided to try it since I've never had Birria tacos. I ordered the combo special. It comes with 2 tacos, 1 mulitas, 1 quesadilla, mini calda and a soda for $15. I was very pleased with everything. The value to try several items on the menu was great and portion was not too bad. “I’ve been hearing about Silvio‘s for a while from a couple of friends, so we decided to give it a try. It is uniquely situated in the corner of Bush‘s supermarket, but don’t let that fool you. It has a separate entrance and has a very quaint atmosphere. For those who don’t know, Trattoria represents a family run business in both the kitchen and the front end of the restaurant, with homemade food. As we were seated, we noticed a gentleman in the back cooking and making pizzas and found out later that he in fact was Silvio, making the food with his own hands. Our waitress was of course, family as well, and told us that every item on the menu is made from scratch. And it really showed! I had lasagna, which was absolutely fantastic! I would’ve liked a little bigger piece, but it was great. My wife had salad and the Michigan ravioli, which was very unique and tasted wonderful. The salad was presented beautifully and included artichokes and other specialty ingredients which made it beyond ordinary. We definitely plan to visit again!”

“Awesome Night Out - VIP Lanes Are the Way to Go! We had a super fun night out with a group of friends from the office. Highly recommend springing for the VIP lanes! They were not crowded at all, and all the equipment and machines were working perfectly, which made for a smooth and enjoyable game. The food and drinks were excellent (much better than typical bowling alley fare!), and the staff was very attentive and friendly. A fantastic spot for a work social or group event. Not a hint of fishiness in the traditional ahi tuna and salmon, the two I've tried so far. It's set up similar to a chipotle.
