Zoo Aquarium Museum Park

“Had a really great time this afternoon. I love the desert loop, I get to walk out in nature before returning to the paved paths my family prefers. A win-win. It's a great place to see, whether or not you live in Tucson. It's not solely a tourist destination. I only rated 4 stars because the price is steep. Maybe consider age, residency, etc. My 3 year old is too young to absorb the experience the way we do. I was surprised we had to pay that much for him. I'm sure the money is all for a good cause and as an animal lover, I'd rather my money goes here but at these prices I think I'll only visit once a year.”

I wish there was normal benches to sit on and enjoy the scenery, just as very very uncomfortable tree bench thing. Great location lots of shade bathrooms water fountains etc.”

The experience was a great time. I can't think of a time when I had laughed so much. Overall a great experience. Even though the zoo is closed for the winter, sloth experiences are still available. I highly recommend!”

Memphis Zoo

Address: 2000 Prentiss Pl, Memphis, TN 38112, USA

Zoo

“Honestly I haven't been to that many zoos, so I'm no expert on the subject. With that being said, I've been to this one a great number of times and will be back a great many more. I'd highly recommend packing a picnic and plenty of drink/bottles. There are several water fountains, but somehow when you happen to be the thirstiest the water fountain you walk up to isn't working. So fill up the bottles and time your inside location stops right and you'll have a wonderful, hydrated time.”

Branan Field Wildlife and Environmental Area

Address: 11900 Branan Field Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32222, USA

Zoo Park

“Perfect place to experience what this area looked like prior to mass suburbanization and beltways. This mostly quiet woodland area is excellent for short to moderate walks. The vast majority of the property is dry and there are many locations in which to put a blanket on the ground for a relatively secluded picnic or hang a hammock. The property abuts to an active airfield and there were a few flights the day we visited but it was calm and quiet most of the time.”

Butterfly Wonderland

Address: 9500 East Vía de Ventura F100, Scottsdale, AZ 85256, USA

Zoo Park Health

“Really beautiful to see..just prepare for the climate. Pretty warm and humid, tropical environment in the sanctuary. Very friendly staff. Short 3d film on monarch butterflies is interesting for all ages. Face mask is required..so again..be prepared for the tropical environment. The multi entertainment ticket is your best bet, a little pricey for just the butterfly exhibit especially due to the fact that you really cannot stay in there for too long due to the heat. There is a small aquatic and reptile walk through exhibit included. Fun day!!”

“Very cute pick your own farm. This was our first time and all the kids loved it. They had a ton of Pumpkins in every size, plus pick your own. The parking was adequate and spacious. All the barns were designated for different things, the snack barn had delicious cider and donuts. I particularly loved the pick your own flower field. They had at least 30 different kinds of flowers in rows and a cute little stand with jars so you could pick your own bouquet. I've never seen that at a pumpkin farm before so it was amazing, we even took some beautiful pictures in the field. The girls really loved the bunny hut because they had baby bunnies and bigger bunnies that you could hold, with parents help of course. They were also for sale but I was told they were all bought for the moment. They had a bunch of pretty set ups for pictures which is my favorite part of these festive farms. Highly recommend!”

Butterfly Pavilion

Address: 6252 W 104th Ave, Westminster, CO 80020, USA

Zoo Post office

“Unique place that let's you see bug type wildlife up close. Most specimens are in separate 3-ish foot enclosures that let you get just the right view. They change some of them (smaller enclosures) regularly, so it is worth coming back every other month or so. Also have a small ocean exhibit to highlight how some bugs are related to ocean life. You get to see coral, horseshoe crabs, starfish, and other critters. And then there's the "butterfly room". A walk-through room with HUNDREDS of butterflies. All different species, sizes, and colors. This place is great for people and kids that aren't freaked out by bugs. I HATE spiders, and I was even able to hold Rosie (smaller desert tarantula). Definitely worth the visit at least once, and even regularly for local folks.”

Ohio Wildlife Center

Address: 6131 Cook Rd, Powell, OH 43065, USA
