“A great place at Busch Gardens to just sit in air conditioning and watch the tigers do what they do.”

“Great walking tracks for the dogs. I have 2 little dogs. Very quiet, but of course it's early afternoon. It's very convenient for me, I live .2 miles away. Has small play area with swing set, slide, and climbing area. Benches are conveniently located in view of the playground. The park also has a shelter area with picnic tables which would be great for family picnics. They have also included public grills near the shelter for easy access. Note: Would make sure to bring aluminum foil for food safety. There is a few basketball courts for the older kids, but a couple times I was there it was hard to get into a game because it was packed and it was made clear that the court was taken and no outsiders were invited. Note: I'm not trying to be critical, I am just giving a honest review of how I see the park. I think could be more controlled, however I'm not sure how that would be handed. The walking track is .25 mile around once. They have just planted a lot of trees, as it seems they are trying to increase the green factor. Look, for a small neighborhood park its nice, it has always been clean, and it's convenient for South Enders. One downfall is no public restrooms. It is unusual because of the shelter to not have them, however a water fountain is available. I also have noticed a large sprinkler area during the summer months which seemed to be very well APPRECIATED on a 90+ day in the humidity of Louisville. So that's it, you know Louisville has such a great park system I think it can be easy to overlook the small neighborhood parks that are all over our neighborhoods. If you live in the South End its a nice place to walk the dogs, let the kids run off some energy, or just sit on a bench and watch the world go by. REMEMBER PLEASE KEEP OUR PARK CLEAN. DON'T LITTER! REMOVE ALL THOSE GIFTS OUR BELOVED CANINE FRIENDS LEAVE. ( No Waste Removal Bags Are Provided As They Are At Most Louisville Parks. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE PARK BEAUTIFUL... Looks like they have planted a ton of trees. That's a great thing. Please keep the park clean. We found this on our walk. Sad because there are trash receptacles all through the park.”

“We absolutely love this splash pad ! There are areas for young children and older kids. The facilities to change into swim stuff are clean and while small, are completely fine for families. The staff patrol frequently to make sure the kids. Playin safely. Our 13 month old love the splash pad”

“The zoo has reopened. There are new policies in place to ensure everyone's safety. Reservations and face masks are required. There are one-way paths to provide easy flow and lessen congestion. It is well thought out and staff is around to help explain things and direct you. With the small crowd and organized experience it was my most enjoyable visit to date.”

“Primates are my favorite at any zoo, and this exhibit did not disappoint. Lots of areas to view them do everyone gets an opportunity to see them. Benches for littles to stand on makes it easy for even the smallest zoo goer to take a gander. Loved it!”

“Excellent zoo!!! I love how it's separated by continent and beautifully decorated. Lots of things for kids! The monkey hill area is the best, kids can roll around on a grassy hill or hike up a stone stream and splash around. That is definitely a cool feature for when they need to burn off energy. The primates were the best!!! The momma and baby were so cute. The petting zoo was fun and they had a hand washing station at the end which was great. Food and drinks are expensive, I would bring your own lunch and snacks.”

“Very interesting! Just be prepared to do a lot of walking. Could easily spend all day here. Lots of interesting exhibits, and the kids loved the train. If you don't like spiders and snakes, don't worry, you can skip that building. ((ugh)) The building with the tropical birds was my favorite.”

“Great place to go with children since they can walk and see the animals pet them and feed them. I was a little disappointed on the italian garden since the fountains weren't working. I guess it looks much better during spring/winter”

“I was sad that I didn't get a picture of the bobcat before he went into his cave, but he was gorgeous. And we got to see the red-shouldered hawk close up because his handler was taking him for a walk. And we were able to get stories of some of the critters from the lady while she was feeding and cleaning. You can tell they love the animals and put their hearts into the work.”

“Coming from Dallas & having memberships to both the Dallas and Ft. Worth zoos was a bit of a shock, but now that it's our zoo, we love Zoo Boise. The expansion with the African exhibit is fantastic. I wish they would've sprung for non-reflective glass, but otherwise very well done. My kids love the zoo and we go a few times a month. We especially like when the keepers or student volunteers are out and give us a little extra information. My kids also love feeding the giraffes and the Sloth Bear. Can't wait to see the continued improvements.”

“Jeremy gave us a very interesting tour of how alpaca wool is processed to become the soft yet strong yarn to be used for knitting etc. Driving there is a little tricky due to sharp tight turns, so if you are a bit of a chicken, let someone else do the driving.”

“Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary in Merritt Island is a beautiful hidden gem. There are miles of waterway with thousands of fishing spots. There is also a nice hiking trail, however it is hit or miss if the trail will be maintained. All in all Ulamay is a great place to spend a few hours or even the day exploring.”

“Great little place tucked out of the way to throw a line in. The only down side is at dusk the bugs are out in full force and bug spray barley puts a dent in it. But the sand does feel good between your toes.”

I can't wait to see her vision and love pour out into the community and start a much needed change. “My husband and I took our girls here yesterday and we absolutely loved it! They have the sweetest creatures living here. I was a little sad to see they had installed an interior fence behind the bison fence. They used to stick their heads through the main fence and let me pet them - so calm, sweet and loving. They're my favorite animals here - just gentle giants. All of the people here seemed as happy to be there as we were, very social, very kind, and also very helpful. We took photos for other families, and we had one family stop to take a few for us. Beautiful vegetation runs throughout the property. Each animal is well accommodated. Honestly, I could live in some of those enclosures! A great time at a great place ???? We even caught the prairie dogs doing something cute. This little cutie on the right got kissed by not one, but TWO other prairie dogs. I caught the second kiss ????”
