“What could have been a flopped 10th anniversary wine tour was saved by Dave. The bus didn’t pick us up so without delay Dave jumped up and drove us 25 minutes to the winery to meet up with the tour. It was all in all a fantastic time and the room was lovely. The breakfast was so tasty. It was a great night. Thank you guys!!!”

“David, our host, was so welcoming and charming. Gatekeeper’s Retreat is a lovely home with beautiful antiques and a wonderful ambience. The breakfasts were amazing and so creative. This B & B is well situated and is within walking distance to downtown Niagara On The Lake. It’s also close to many excellent restaurants and wineries. We stayed two nights and will definitely be back again. Thanks to David for such a wonderful mini holiday!!!!”

“This was just a shot in the dark with all the choices of motels here.. This is a great motel! I needed 2 rooms for our crew. No problem.. clean, modern establishment.. there's 2 levels of rooms. A parking spot per. Really cool thing i enjoyed was there pavilion that was lighted.. BBQ 's with picnic tables that was free to use for guest's.. very friendly owners happy to help..”

“I visited back in 2015, and the hotel itself was very good, for the price! The location was also top-notch. The only downside was that the beds were quite hard, but maybe that has changed half a decade later. Also, how come it says it costs $893 to stay one night on Google Maps? That’s obviously incorrect, because the price was over $800 less from what I remember. Anyways, if you want a good location near all of the attractions, and you don’t want to throw your money out the window, this is a good hotel.”

“I came here with my partner for a mini summer getaway and will definitely be coming back! We got the superior room with a corner view of the vineyard and it was so beautiful. We were greeted with an option of sparkling wine or rose. The staff were very friendly. We also ate at the Oakland restaurant for dinner and then lunch the next day and everything on the menu was impeccable. We went on a bike ride (complimentary) around the area and saw the most stunning view of the Niagara river. I have no complaints about this place at all. Superb job!”

“First word that comes to mind is just wow! This was the best BNB stay we have ever had. The place was spotless, comfortable, and so close to everything in town. Every little detail was thoroughly thought of from the comfy slippers, toiletries in the bathroom, and stocked fridge with waters and tea in our bedroom. But the true highlight of the stay was the hosts. They made us feel right at home with joyful morning conversations alongside their DELICIOUS spread for breakfast. We 1000% recommend staying here if you’re in the area and we hope to visit again!”

“My husband and I spent a week at Bondy House in August. We loved it so much we have booked another three nights just after Christmas. Our hosts Carolyn and Merv made us feel very welcome. Breakfast began with fresh fruit and yogurt, croisants hot out of the oven, coffee, tea and juice. Our mains included eggs our way along with different bacon types and was served with a prettily designed fresh tomato display. Toast and cereal rounded it out. Our room had an extremely comfortable queen size bed and a beautiful ensuite shower. This was our base and we walked all over the area, coming back for tea and a rest before heading out again. Absolutely perfect spot right downtown across from the waterfront.”

“The wait was worth it!! Having a walk-in schedule can be difficult to be seen the moment your pet needs care. It took me a couple of days but the front desk staff gave me places that could get my dog in if it was an emergency. My dog was not in an emergency situation so I waited a few hours and called in to check if they could get my dog seen for his annual appointment. The staff was courteous and accommodating in person and on the phone even when having to turn patients away due to being over booked. I appreciate the all the staff and their dedication to pets of all kinds. The veterinarian that saw my dog was great and I appreciate all the time she took to answer my questions. I am thankful for this place and the staff that make this office my first choice!! My advise is be patient and be flexible!!”
