Great little restaurant that had some great traditional Dutch cuisine. The manager was very kind and seated us and made sure we were comfortable and ready to order. I’m not from Amsterdam and this was my first trip to The Netherlands, but my Oma and mother were born in Holland and I knew a little Dutch. As soon as the Heineken was flowing and I was more confident with speaking Dutch, the whole night turned into a magical experience. Ordered the stamppot with endive and a meatball and it tasted like my Oma’s cooking! By the end of the meal, the manager had treated us like family and we had a great time. Definitely would recommend and will be back to have one more dish before I leave!
We really enjoyed the Dutch dishes, beverages and service here. Price is reasonable too. The dishes are all so authentic and delicious. Do give this restaurant a try when you are in Amsterdam.
Petit restaurant de rozenboom is an excellent Dutch restaurant. There is a very nice typical fried starter along with a good choice of main course. There is good beer as well. The restaurant is super cute on 3 floors. There is blue Delft China everywhere. As the restaurant was almost empty, I had the chance to visit everything. Price is nice, reservation is recommended. It is convenient to walk there from city center
A traditional Dutch restaurant in an alleyway close to the Rokin metro/tram station. Good menu choices and the portion is quite generous.
The décor is great and there are plenty of outside sitting perfect for alfresco dining at a hot summer night!!
