“Amazing chicken Katsu. The udon noodles are excellent. Handmade right in front of you. Great service. Lots of options. The gyoza were excellent too. Highly recommend if you need a place for lunch or dinner. Seating inside and outside.”

“The place is very elegant and chic, especially it should be fun the rooftop in summer days. It is better to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights. Otherwise try to go early because of the “walk-in first” concept. The cocktails are tasty and the prices are affordable for that type of place. Approximately 15-18€ per cocktail. There was a dj when we were there, and it was a good performance and experience as well.”

“The ambiance and music is really on point. Not too strong to make it harder for you to speak nor too soft that it fades into the background. Service was great! Kinda quick tbh for so many things on the menu. Make a reservation to avoid the hassle of waiting outside. The food was delicious but very little offering. No chicken so only 1 lamb and rest all beef curries. In veg there are 5 I assume. Great teas and coffee! Their fig dessert is delicious too! Would definitely go again.”

“It's horrible, everything looks so delicious makes me want to order the whole menu. Had breakfast here twice with my girlfriend and we don't regret a single penny spent, the food is really tasty can only recommend it.”

“Very good bar with variety of beers. If you like sour beer you can find one for your taste very easily. They have burgers and other snacks to share. The staff is kind and fast. They have different board games to play. Reservation can be made and might be good for Friday or Saturday.”

“Definitely recommend stopping here for brunch, they have GF options and the food was tasty. I had a yummy ginger-mint lemonade, but the coffee was a bit stout for my taste. The space is a little tight not ideal for big groups but perfect for couples or small groups of 4.”

“Absolutely DELICIOUS. One of the best meals I’ve had in Amsterdam. Will 1000% be back soon 🌟 We had jerk chicken and oxtail with rice and peas. Both were amazing, super flavourful, tender oxtail and really really filling. A good sized plate of food for the price - which is hard to come by in this city. Really friendly service and great cocktails (and they have Red Stripe!). Highly recommend!! Thank you for the memorable meal!”

“This was a beautiful dining experience with exceptional attention to detail in all areas. I visited on 25/01 and reserved around one week in advance. The food was incredible and I really appreciated the detailed introduction that the waiter(s) gave about each course. As a solo diner, I felt very welcomed by all the friendly staff who worked there, and it was lovely to chat with them too. Many thanks to everyone at Men Impossible for making my final evening in Amsterdam a memorable one - I hope to visit again soon!”

“Nice place with a super friendly owner(?). The spareribs were super, slightly sweet (yummie!)! The chicken wings starter were also very great. The shrimps (starter) and the lamb chops (main) were not that great. The shrimps missed flavour. The lamb should have been more medium or medium/rare. But still would go back for the spareribs and maybe try a steak (the specialty).”

“Very very small portions for simple Italian food, and the waitress with the glasses was very passive aggressive. She took a long time to give us the bill even though there were very few tables and 3 waiters. Overall good experience though, would be five stars without the passive aggressive waitress and bigger sharing portions (tiny steak for €64). As a Waiter myself in London, 4 waiters would manage 60 tables in a busy Michelin Guide Restaurant (Bancone). No matter how stressed or frustrated we would get at the customers, I would always be smiling.”

“Always happy when I order the soato soup. Today I also tried the chicken with vegetables. I liked both of these dishes. Friendly and quick service!”

“Located several mins walk away from dam square, it's definitely not touristic trap despite its super centered location. The spicy level has been adjusted a bit to local level but still super tasty according to my standard. The portion is generous, especially the roasted whole sea bass - seven dishes fed us seven people quite well. - We chose gold and silver garlic flavour for sea bass this time. The side veges are unexpectedly great, especially the tofu (can't help to do some features for tofu). - Tried lamb burritos and fried frog legs with chili peppers for the first time. A bit pricey but affordable - especially frog legs, they are not fishy at all. I'm usually very sensitive to the freshness of meet based on its fragrance and taste. This time both dishes are beyond my expectations! - Stir-fried shredded potatoes is a nice surprise as well. It's usually pretty hard for a restaurant to make everyone happy with a "normal" dish bc we all know what it should taste like. But this time, all of us agree that the fried potato has lived up to our standards. 5-7pm should be less busier. Highly recommend it to Chinese and other people interested in trying authentic Chinese food. P.S. The stair might be too narrow and steep for some people.”

“Lovely place, really quaint but a good atmosphere. Weini was so helpful and lovely. The steak was incredible, cooked to perfection. I would recommend. I've posted a photo but that's not everything, chips and sauce too, all for a good price 🥰”

“The international chain is also found in many locations in Amsterdam. Their menu is as known, rich and always having new items. The portions are big and always well presented. A variety for all taste buds. Service is good and staff are friendly. But a fan of their seating area, very uncomfortable.”

“I recently dined at Kaia in Amsterdam, and it was an exceptional experience. The high-quality Greek cuisine surpassed my expectations. From the moment we entered, the ambiance was inviting. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment. Each dish was a flavorful masterpiece, showcasing the freshness of ingredients and skilled preparation. The presentation was impeccable, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to excellence. Kaia is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. I can't wait to return for another delightful dining experience. Sotiris was very friendly and welcome to his restaurant”

“All Food are hygiene and best test of Asian style food especially for someone who miss tasty Asian meal with the oily chilly sources for hot and spicy dishes. I recommend this for all. For the staff, they are welcome and willing to help you to suggest for your favorite food with Asian smile. The shop rather small but can be supported for 60 people, but the table and chairs are bit small. Anyway, I recommend this shop.”

“The cheese bar is a really unique experience and a total must do whilst in Amsterdam. Would have appreciated better explanation of what the cheese are on the menu as it was quite hard to figure out by just their names. Also portions are on the bigger side so if you’re going as a smaller group it’s hard to get through several cheeses (we were 3 people and had 4 cheeses).”

“Very interesting venue, it seems to be some sort of old bank. There is a table downstairs in a very private and bank themed setting, suitable for groups of 10 to 12 people. The food was good, but not outstanding. Wide and good selection of wines. If you come during a cold day, make sure to bring warm clothes as quite chilly inside. “Had an amazing dinner here even though the restaurant is quite small. Definitely fitting for a place called Klein Afrika, it gives you a taste of Afrika from the atmosphere to the food. I really enjoyed the Ethiopian dishes and the prices are really reasonable as well. One last thing is the service was splendid and everyone was friendly, five stars!”

“Quaint little restaurant/bar. Decor of retro concert posters from years past. I had a great mixed drink and enjoyed my food too. Noise level was normal for a bar in downtown Amsterdam. 😉 I would go back.”

“Great service, great ambience. This was our first Japanese food experience in Amsterdam. Had to wait for a bit to get seated since it was a busy night (5-10 minutes) but as soon as we were seated, we got promptly attended to, and got our orders taken. Plus points to our server for offering tap water as an option. The ramen (I had the hataka miso ramen) was too salty for my taste. And when we gave feedback to our server they did inform us that there is an option to request for less salt for next time. Also ordered karaage and shrimp tempura, those were good. Just ask questions if you have any concerns before ordering, staff is really helpful.”

“Absolutely delicious! Friendly and sooo good! The St..George steak. The fries with the peppercorn and chimicurri dipping! And get the garlic bread! If they have the burger- get it! That's how you know it's good and fresh- they only serve it if it's fresh! A lovely family restaurant! A relaxed place on a fun street! As you can see, we devoured everything!”

“small, family restaurant with a great cuisine. you wouldn't taste better food if you were in Morocco. a final mint tea is mandatory! just two downsides: first, the restaurant is so demanded on the weekends, and it's so small, that the restaurant forces a minimal order per table ( either two tahina or one tahina with multiple entrée). we wanted to try multiple entrée, we ended up taking almost the whole tahina as take away. second, I missed some mutton option.”

“Our visit to this restaurant was solid and featured a delicious selection of ramen and other Japanese food. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. Our child was especially overjoyed with the rice and chicken. This restaurant is great for a stopover. All the dishes, including the broth, were delicious. Although it seemed like the broth was made from a concentrate, this did not detract from the taste at all. Overall, it was a pleasant experience where we were able to enjoy our culinary preferences. We would happily recommend this place as a good option for a quick meal or stopover.”

“Its a real calinary experience the chef must be really good. The dish i had for breakfast was excellent and very different from what usually served. Poached eggs with pitta bread and a blend of roasted spice and an infuced oil a real brain teaser”

“This restaurant is a delightful spot for seafood enthusiasts. The oysters are notably fresh and of high quality, with a decent variety to choose from. For those who prefer plant-based options, the vegetarian dishes are tasty and well-prepared. The establishment also boasts an excellent selection of wine and spirits to complement your meal. However, be prepared for a lingering smell of oil that may stick to your clothes. Despite this minor drawback, the overall vibe of the place is fantastic, complete with friendly staff and delectable food.”
