“Absolutely DELICIOUS. One of the best meals I’ve had in Amsterdam. Will 1000% be back soon 🌟 We had jerk chicken and oxtail with rice and peas. Both were amazing, super flavourful, tender oxtail and really really filling. A good sized plate of food for the price - which is hard to come by in this city. Really friendly service and great cocktails (and they have Red Stripe!). Highly recommend!! Thank you for the memorable meal!”

“Very very small portions for simple Italian food, and the waitress with the glasses was very passive aggressive. She took a long time to give us the bill even though there were very few tables and 3 waiters. Overall good experience though, would be five stars without the passive aggressive waitress and bigger sharing portions (tiny steak for €64). As a Waiter myself in London, 4 waiters would manage 60 tables in a busy Michelin Guide Restaurant (Bancone). No matter how stressed or frustrated we would get at the customers, I would always be smiling.”

“Always happy when I order the soato soup. Today I also tried the chicken with vegetables. I liked both of these dishes. Friendly and quick service!”

“I recently dined at Kaia in Amsterdam, and it was an exceptional experience. The high-quality Greek cuisine surpassed my expectations. From the moment we entered, the ambiance was inviting. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment. Each dish was a flavorful masterpiece, showcasing the freshness of ingredients and skilled preparation. The presentation was impeccable, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to excellence. Kaia is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. I can't wait to return for another delightful dining experience. Sotiris was very friendly and welcome to his restaurant”

“The cheese bar is a really unique experience and a total must do whilst in Amsterdam. Would have appreciated better explanation of what the cheese are on the menu as it was quite hard to figure out by just their names. Also portions are on the bigger side so if you’re going as a smaller group it’s hard to get through several cheeses (we were 3 people and had 4 cheeses).”

“small, family restaurant with a great cuisine. you wouldn't taste better food if you were in Morocco. a final mint tea is mandatory! just two downsides: first, the restaurant is so demanded on the weekends, and it's so small, that the restaurant forces a minimal order per table ( either two tahina or one tahina with multiple entrée). we wanted to try multiple entrée, we ended up taking almost the whole tahina as take away. second, I missed some mutton option.”

“Our visit to this restaurant was solid and featured a delicious selection of ramen and other Japanese food. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. Our child was especially overjoyed with the rice and chicken. This restaurant is great for a stopover. All the dishes, including the broth, were delicious. Although it seemed like the broth was made from a concentrate, this did not detract from the taste at all. Overall, it was a pleasant experience where we were able to enjoy our culinary preferences. We would happily recommend this place as a good option for a quick meal or stopover.”

“Its a real calinary experience the chef must be really good. The dish i had for breakfast was excellent and very different from what usually served. Poached eggs with pitta bread and a blend of roasted spice and an infuced oil a real brain teaser”

“This restaurant is a delightful spot for seafood enthusiasts. The oysters are notably fresh and of high quality, with a decent variety to choose from. For those who prefer plant-based options, the vegetarian dishes are tasty and well-prepared. The establishment also boasts an excellent selection of wine and spirits to complement your meal. However, be prepared for a lingering smell of oil that may stick to your clothes. Despite this minor drawback, the overall vibe of the place is fantastic, complete with friendly staff and delectable food.”

“Oriental supermarket, selling tasty food at the front. People cuing, food in very nice and fresh. Shop situated near Albert Cuyp Market. I find the place through ‘Do It Yourself’ self guided tour.”

“Absolutely amazing. The food was exceptionally delicious. Everything was well-balanced, fresh and exciting. Tastes and ingredients that we're somewhat new to us. We had the set menu and was surprised to see how good the value for money was. We had 5 servings, and they were all solid. Lovely experience. Will definitely come back next time we're in Amsterdam.”

“The food was delicious! All the staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the place. The pancakes are worth a special mention as they were amazing both days we went for breakfast here. Would 100% recommend.”

“This was honesty some of the best food my partner and I have ever had, extremely authentic, and we left completely satisfied. Every dish was impeccable, staff were extremely friendly and service was great, location and ambiance are spot on, and quite affordable for what you get! I’ve never had eggplant or cauliflower this good, and the presentation of every dish was amazing. Unfortunately my partner and I are just visiting, otherwise we would both definitely be regulars here. Fantastic vegan options, would highly recommend to vegans and vegetarians. Don’t miss this place!”

“I usually go to "old" Albina but also like new Albina. I recently visited and noticed an increase in the quality of the food. The restaurant is run by relatives of "old Albina". The concept is identical and the menu is very large containing surniami, cantonese and dutch chinese dishes. Moksi meti is always very good and recommended. Setting is simple but cozy and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”

“Modern Arabic food, combining traditional dishes with an international twist. All dishes are delicious and come in large portions. 📝 Friendly and attentive staff. They speak little English but the treatment they offer is very warm 💰Very affordable prices for the quality of the food ✅ Highly recommended”

“Staff was very kind and welcoming. We were there for a lunch with sharing some plates. Baby leeks plate was the queen of our table! Pizza is very thin and delicious. We also liked the crispy shrimps. Asparagus wasn’t flavored enough as we expected but overall our experience is very good.”

“Absolutely sensational! A very stylish modern restaurant. The entire staff is very friendly and perfectly organized. The timing was perfectly coordinated. The food tasted great and was prepared with a lot of love. The portions were very large and very good value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend it!”

“Nice restaurant for eating stakes or some kind of fish and sea food. The chef was really friendly and speaks good english. The steaks came in all kind of weight and parts of the animal. I’ve you are vegetarian or vegan you will not find much here.”

“I ate so much after so long. Taste is just amazing and portion size is huge. Food is not too spicy but it is amazing. Roti with chicken on bone is a must have. Chicken is so tender and goes well with potatoes. Moksi meti special is also amazing and should be tried with white rice only. It costs around 10€ per person only.”

“The ramen here is really tasty. I enjoyed it but I wish there were a few more options for plant-based diets! My main critique is regarding the size of the restaurant. Unfortunately it is very cramped inside and as a dining party of 3, we were crammed at a table that barely fit our food. I recommend coming here during the week or simply getting take-away.”

“Easy 5 stars for me; excellent customer service and delicious food. Brunch menu even had burgers for brunch! Fries were delicious! Outside seating options. Convenient location near the park. Highly recommend!”

“This place might not seem like the place to be from the interior, but it is such a nice vibe. I know the pictures of the food ain’t much, but I was too busy eating the amazing food. The meat is super flavourful and the pace and variety that passes your table is just right. It is a bit on the salty side, but the flavours just explode in your mouth. I think this will be one of my regular spots!”

“This turned out to be a pleasant breakfast spot. Wasn’t really sure what to expect, but we were hungry and needing a spot along our walk to the museums. When we popped in, the service was a little cold at first, but eventually warmed up and were pleasant. Good coffee, mimosa, pancake, and egg breakfast sandwich. Pretty big menu. Given all the options in the city, not sure I would make it a priority to go back, but we all enjoyed it and have nothing bad to say about it!”

“The restaurant is located on the street with a beautiful view of it. Inside the restaurant there is a really nice family environment. I recommend lunch or dinner with children. The service was really pleasant and helpful. She advised me on the choice of beer and food. The speed was really fast. The delivery of drinks was also fast. The food was on the table before long. excellent and tasty burger with fries and homemade sauce.”

“Well-located spot in De Pijp. Plenty of space for outdoor dining. Sangria is good (go for the Barca one). Shame it closes at 12 on weekdays, though it does sometimes stay open later inside. QR code for ordering food and drinks.”

“It’s a place where you can taste various kinds of Korean food. It’s a all you can eat restaurant in 2hours. Each round you can choose 3menu per person. Food quality was quite great. Spicy rice cake and crispy pancake was my best. Meat and seafood are fresh. Although I have to change the grill paper every time, servers are nice. They removed the empty dishes right away and served the food quick.”

“Fantastic sandwiches. We tried the rib sandwich and the beef chuck sandwich. The rib sandwich was absolutely amazing, the ribs were slow cooked for over 18 hours making them really soft with lots of flavour. I highly recommend everyone to try it. The beef chuck sandwich was great too. The chimichurri tasted a bit more like pesto than chimichurri though, but nevertheless tasted great.”

“Fresh and delish sea food. The price you pay is for quality of the food your served. Sea food platter with all kinds of sea food and perfect cooked. Do not miss the signature dish “la bisque”. Friendly and kind staff. Great wines and cocktails.”
