We came to the free exhibit on the history of cinema, and it was excellent. There are many special exhibits that operate on their own or are interactive, and it is not about "just" looking at pictures or videos. It is obvious that a lot of thought (and money) has been invested here, and it is highly recommended to come for a short visit
Loved learning about the history of film, there were little booths where you can watch films and do quizzes which were so fun.
The building is a stunning architectural build.
You can get the free ferry here from Central station.
Also recommend buying the flip book which is an adorable souvenir :)
Cool museum, they have a cinema and also different exhibitions. The exhibitions are so cool and also they have a big screen and a very comfortable chairs to lay down. oops I fall asleep! The movie was interesting, but the chairs were so comfy! They also have interactive games and we bought a flip book done by ourselves.
Definitely a place to visit in Amsterdam if you're into movies and cinema.
The exhibition held there is rather bizarre but super interesting at the same time, showing different artists work and historic aspects of Australia during the 20th century.
The permanent exhibition "Panorama" displays different types of cameras and the development of the film media.
We loved the experience here! The restaurant offers very good food, plus the ambience is so refreshing and relaxing! Enjoy the free boat ride to and from the Central Station. You can also visit other areas of the Eye Film museum for free!
