    The tour from the museum is well worth the small fee (under £5 each) taking in much of the upper grounds, our tour guide was very enthusiastic and had a great sense of humour, as well as being incredibly knowledgeable about the history and surrounding area and very open to questions about both, which made the tour all the more enjoyable.

    Be sure to wear comfortable footwear and clothing for the weather as this does take at least 2 hours, plus you'll want to explore the rest of the grounds and the small museum once the tour is over

    Very interesting place. Went on the guided tour around the ruins of the crystal palace which last 1hr 45 mins. Well worth doing. It cost £5 . The museum is free and open the first Sunday of the month . April till October.

    Funny little place with some great photos and artefacts. Worth popping in for 10mins or an hour.
