We had a fantastic time on Modern Taste of Britain, highly recommended to any foodies or someone who enjoys Borough Market.
James was our tour guide and he was amazing! We were only in London for one day and this was the perfect introduction into some of the culture and foods London has to offer. We loved that he told us about the various murals and the cultural significance of the areas of London we visited. The food was also delicious and was a great variety of the food offerings of the SOHO district. My wife doesn't drink and James helped her get a virgin Margarita and a good soft drink at a couple of the locations visited. We loved this tour more than the highly rated Rome Food Tour we went on with another company earlier on our trip. Great experience and highly recommended!
Thoroughly enjoyed London Food Lovers tour of Soho. Being guided by Sarah. my Mum and I found this a delicious and thought-provoking experience for the foodie (her) and the non-foodie (me) alike. This company's tours are a must for those wanting a sublime experience of the London food scene.
The food and history of the Soho area was fabulous. Mauritius did an excellent job of weaving historical information with the culinary flavors brought to the Soho area by immigrants. Very enjoyable day!
My husband and I have taken many food tours in Europe and the US (including the original Soho morning tour by London Food Lovers), and this company is one of the best. There are several factors that contribute to a truly great food tour. In addition to tasty food, an outstanding tour needs the right balance of flavors, a reasonable number of stops, and the presentation of dishes in a thoughtful order. And of course you need a guide with a great personality who not only knows a lot about the food and restaurants, but can also share the history of the area. London Food Lovers checks all these boxes.
