Always a pleasure! Lovely atmosphere e.g. vintage music and incredible relics from the nearby area. A true tribute to the Battle of Britain. Bargain entry price!
Lovely cafe with friendly staff, excellent prices and a good range of food. Step back into the 1940's in this atmospheric gem in Shoreham. Together with its Battle of Britain Museum, it's a great place to revive yourself whilst you sit in the pretty garden, surrounded by pictures of Spifires and Hurricanes. Highly recommended !
Visited this great little museum on the weekend and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were welcoming and friendly and keen to explain all about fascinating exhibits on display. Well worth seeking out
We went here today. This place is a truly fabulous and delightful little gem! I can’t recommend it enough. Firstly it has been put together through love and having a keen interest in the RAF. It is quirky and there are some great anecdotes. What definitely makes it stand out is the amazing volunteers. Thanks to Norman, Ray and Dean for a great experience and the time you spent with us telling us all of the different stories. So interesting and informative. On top of that there’s a lovely little garden area and a tea house - the food is lovely and so is the lady running it. Time very well spent and will visit again / tell my friends to come by. Thank you!
(For those not from Kent, Shoreham in is a lovely example of a Kent Village too).
A lovely tea rooms with World War II aviation museum run by local enthusiasts. Everything is in keeping with the museum theme. The tea rooms is free entry but the museum entry is for a small charge in order to maintain the aviation exhibits. Art by Geoff Nutkins, an amazing artist, is available in print format, some signed by pilots of the era. The cream tea is amazing!
