“No advertising and still this place is consistently full. Word of mouth and repeat customers make this B&B a monumental success. The owners, Andy and Sue, take pride is top notch service and courtesy. Further they are VERY UNLIKE most hotels and B&B establishments by the very fact they are fast at confirming your stay, making available your room and settling you in for your stay no matter how recent your booking. The establishment is top of the line clean, neat, and well-respected in it's care. A library of both books and movies are available for the guests, complimentary. Breakfast is made to order, served at the time of your choosing. Even better, the owners are fast to become friends, caring more about you as a person than the money in your pocket. It most certainly a business, but money is handled discreetly and comfort/hospitality pushed to the front. You will enjoy your stay, sleep well and enjoy the space. It is a 10 on a 5 star scale.”

“Found a good deal via Groupon for Day Spa. For £19 can't really complain... Lovely, friendly staff. Had a great 30 minute Swedish back massage by a lady called Pam. Facilities are clean- Jacuzzi, steam room & pool. Lunch was delicious & parking is free. A nice day out.”

“We were made to feel very welcome. The decor seemed a little tired and dated, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Although the menu wasn't extensive, the meals we ordered were nicely cooked, presented and good sized portions. Reasonably priced too. I highly recommend the chocolate and raspberry dessert, wonderfully rich, a real treat.”

“It is such a shame when someone trashes the business and staff that you are so proud of. Our ladies did not scratch their floor, nor their stone fireplace. We showed the pictures to a flooring / stone expert who said that it was unlikely that the scratches were caused by a hover as considerable force would have needed to have been applied. Never-the-less as a good will gesture we offered to pay for part of it. Although that offer was withdrawn when this message and a similar one was posted on facebook. To say I got aggressive is just not true, I was out of the country and my Office manageress handled it all. If you would like more about this please feel free to contact me. I have transcripts of all the calls and emails to and from my office to substantiate the above.”

“Easy place to find. Was a clean room. Breakfast was nice. Parking was free lots of space. BUT no lift in hotel had to walk up and down to the room. Overall I would use again.”
