“Arrived at the Tudor Rose for lunch Saturday. Lovely traditional tea room. Was really busy but the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. “This is a pub in Greenhithe village near Dartford. I am staying in this pub for 4 days. Very very reasonable priced 25 pounds a night that includes a small room with tv and cereals , tea or coffee in the morning. Fridge , microwave and bathroom are shared but they are clean and not overcrowded as its got 3 rooms altogether, so I can live with that. Pub owner is friendly, there's separate entry if you don't want to use pub entrance. I will add some pictures tomorrow.”

“Visited this restaurant today, pleasantly surprised. the food while not wildly excellent was good. I did however consider the French Onion soup to be over priced for what it was, though it tasted excellent, if a little greasy. The service was excellent even though it was quite busy, the staff were friendly, even chatty. I would certainly visit again.”

I don't understand other reviews complaining about the prices and find it very keenly priced for Sevenoaks. Thoroughly recommend giving it a try, and urge locals especially to support this fantastic local restaurant.”

I'd give it 5* but a couple times I've been here with friends one or two meals have been a little overcooked. “Went to this restaurant for the first time last week. Didn’t know it existed. I loved the food (steak and lobster) couldn’t fault any of of it! Chips were good portions and arrived piping, steak was cooked to perfection, lobster was a dream. I would say my husbands steak was a bit too fatty but mine was fine. The waitress was friendly and had excellent customer service even with a baby bump. This is my new favourite place.”

“Love this chip shop. The staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. One thing I really like is everything is cooked fresh when you order, nothing is sitting around under the hot plate for ages and this really shows in the taste. Mums homemade chicken curry is lovely but not quite spicy enough for me so I just sprinkle a chopped chilli over it when I get home. When the shop is busy you may have a bit of a wait but this is more than worth it for the fresh cooked food but if waiting isn't your thing you can phone your order through and they'll tell you how long til you can collect it.”

Was happy to find at least one item on the menu suitable for vegetarians but nothing available as far as I could see for vegans. I opted for the "everything but the meat" option which was just fine. “We stumbled across this gem of a place. There were 4 of us for Sunday roast. Each one of us had something different. I opted for just a plate of veg. We all throughly enjoyed our food. The Swede was cooked to perfection so many get that wrong as was the cauliflower cheese. We all had dessert 3 crumbles 1 panacotta delicious. The service was friendly efficient and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place.”
