“Saw a glowing review of this lovely Coffee / Gift Shop mentioned in the Dorking Advertiser. So thought we'd check it out. The Building is old and timber framed. With lots of beams on display inside the shop. The host was friendly, but deaf, so hadn't noticed us until we approached the counter. Unfortunately we didn't actually arrive until nearly 4 pm on a Weekday. By which time the kitchen had closed. So we were offered a Salmon Quiche, or a selection of various Cakes or Scones. We chose the huge fruit scones, which were delicious warmed up. Washed down with a nice Latte. One thing to note is that you must pay cash, as there are no facilities for payment by credit card.”
