“I used it to pick people up using the free two hour parking scheme. On entry to the park press button to obtain ticket. You can park near the reception building but spaces there can be hard to find. I arranged for my passengers to take the free bus to the long stay car park that runs about every twelve minutes or so. When ready to go leave the car park, the barrier should automatically raise assuming you've been there for less than two hours. All seemed good for me and my passengers, and it was free for all.
