Alabama Wildlife Center

I found an injured Robin in my backyard and took it to AWC. I donated $50 for its care. I was so surprised and happy to receive a card in the mail a few months later saying that it was rehabilitated and let back into the wild! Thank you AWC! Have been a member ever since. Chirps and Chips is my favorite event every year.

Owl-o-ween was an awesome experience! Beautiful owls and birds of prey! Learned lots of very cool facts about different owls! Everyone from my mom to my granddaughter absolutely loved it!!

We were the first arrivals and got a GREAT tour and a chance to interact with one of the owls. Super excited about it, definitely a hidden treasure for any animal lover. It was my family's first time and we loved it!

I had no idea that this organization existed until my daughter found two hatchlings on the verge of death and abandoned by their mother. I looked up where to take them so they have a chance at life and found this place. What a great mission and fantastic place. Woman who created me gave me a form that was matched with my two animals so we can check in with their progress. Great staff!

These amazing critters are so well loved. Fabulous homes- so neat to walk the trails, see the animals in safe, as close to natural habitat as they can get. The littles loved this and so did the big kids.
