“They used to bring their cakes into work all the time at the Regions Operational Center and it was very good. Since I needed something sweet for my wife's birthday we stopped by Edgar's in Hoover. She had never been in Edgar's before and now upset with me for not bringing her in here sooner! She found two cupcakes with butter cream frosting and we got a cinnamon roll which was delicious. They also had orange roll samples at the cash register which my wive was raving about. I didn't realize they had breakfast and lunch selections along with a kid's menu. We will definitely be back to try something from their breakfast or lunch menu in the near future.”

“We finally got a chance to try this restaurant and had a flyer for a free appetizer with no expiration date which they honored even though we had it for a while. The chips and queso was very good. Our drinks arrived at the table quickly and fast as if you were seated at the bar. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my wife ordered the chef salad. We had enough time to finish the appetizer before our entrees arrived. The Shrimp & grits was outstanding. I thought the dish needed just a little more grits but I am probably being too critical. My wife’s chef salad was fresh and delicious and what she didn’t eat for dinner was my lunch the following day. Our side order of sweet potato fries was awesome! It has been a long time since we’ve tasted sweet potato fries this good. For dessert the scoop of ice cream with chocolate and caramel was generously applied. It was like my wife snuck into the kitchen and made it herself. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Our server Elle was great and it is clear why this restaurant is a favorite hangout of the locals. We sat out on the patio which is dog friendly. We are definitely looking forward to returning here in the near future.”

“We almost didn't go, after reading these reviews, but where Audible Envy goes...we go. Our first waitress seemed to be struggling with the basics. However, the hostess was amazing and got us out and in front of the band. Service may have been slightly slow, but the place was packed. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the ribeye. Cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The Mac n cheese was 'slap yo mama' good. The band was fantastic, as always, and everyone in our party had a great time. We WILL be going back!”

“My husband stopped here the other night because our power was out (wind storm) and bought $50+ worth of food. They placed it all in a box and when he came home, the bottom fell out and it landed on the sidewalk. I have to say, they get 5 stars for replacing the entire meal without any issues. I do have some complaints about the food, however. There were three different main course dishes. Shrimp, beef and chicken. The chicken dish had such a weird smell, I couldn't bare to eat it. The beef was "ok" and the shrimp was delicious. The rice, both the white and the fried, may as well have been raw. Also, I get that the cost of ingredients have gone up but the meat was so sparingly in these meals, it was a shame. Also, there were so many red peppers (the sweet ones) in each dish, just to make up for the lack of meat, I think. And why add a few mini stalks of broccoli if you're going to add so few?? The chicken smell stayed in the house all night and the next day. It was gross. I did enjoy the shrimp though. And, the customer service was spot on.”

“We had passed by here many times waiting for it to open and finally got a chance to try it out last night. The first thing I noticed was how dark the parking area was. It’s obvious they have tried to address this with additional lights. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were so pleasant. I found the prices a little higher than expected for the size portion we received. The food was very good and well seasoned, but I don’t know if it compares with other places I have tried. I will say they quite possibly have the best margaritas I have had at any Mexican restaurant. I think this place is a good addition to Childersburg, and I wish them all the success. Overall I left satisfied and think you will also.”

“On Friday, Aug 21, 2020, I wanted Chinese Food. Therefore, I did some research on WAITR for the best deal and what I had a Taste. I ended up ordering from Wok Express. I had the Luncheon Specials, that comes with an egg roll and fried rice. I also ordered a egg roll and the 6 angel crab. I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein and the Shrimp Fried Rice Meal and they were sooooooooooo Good. I don’t know about anyone else giving them a 1 rating. But, mine food experience was real good and I give them an overall 4.2 rating. Let me tell you how! First, my fried rice was actually FRIED RICE! It had eggs, carrots and green peas in it; plus the onions I requested to add along with it for no extra charge. I couldn’t believe it! 😱😱 Why you asked? Because a lot of Chinese Restaurants don’t do that anymore. They give you fried rice and nothing else, and it’s sticky and gummy. But not Wok Express it was fresh and I had it for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I didn’t want one grain to be lost Okay! ( Now my noodles was a little overcook but still good) There was 12 large pawn shrimp in both my Shrimp Lo Mien and Shrimp Fried Rice. (See Pictures) Plus, I request onions to be added to Both items and make it SPICY and they DID JUST THAT! 👏👏 However, other Chinese Restaurants that I’ve ordered from tell me that can’t do it.They cancel my order or ask me to accept it which is plain fried rice nothing in it. Also, with no onions and not spicy. (Take a look at the pictures). Look how large my egg rolls are. Yummy! Yummy! In my Tummy on All of it. My Angel Crab was crispy, fresh and good. 😱😱 (SEE PICTURES) I give my entire order a 4.2. I will say this; I didn’t like that they sent me 2 nice large thick plastic forks that were not packaged. But they are among many other restaurants who send me silverware loose and I throw it away and use mines. I don’t know about you but with everything that’s going on, I don’t trust not having my silverware in a sealed up package. But they did put my napkins in a bag to make sure they didn’t get wet. (I Requested they did) 👏👏 However, go make sure to get your Chinese there during Lunch time and save money. New post; On Monday the 28, of December 2020, I order the Lunch General TSO’s and it was good, I also, ordered my favorite Spicy Shrimp fried rice on the Lunch Menu and asked for the side fried rice to be spicy and placed in a separate container. Because, I didn’t want it mixed with my Shrimp fried rice but they didn’t do it. Also, I only receive 9 shrimp in my meal and it’s supposed to be 15 or 20 shrimps in my Shrimp Fried Rice. I’m very disappointed especially after the good reviews that I’ve given them. I will always be fair and impartial but I’m very disappointed in how their quality of food portions have went down on my favorite Spicy Shrimp fried rice.”

Then the lasagna was dang good, season very well, with a lot of cheese and a nice amount of meat. The green bean casserole and Mac and cheese taste like if you would of cooked them at home.
