Flying Dutchman is the place to go for early morning selection of fancy pastries.

My personal favorites are the creme cheese ones and the cinnamon roll things. It’s pricey and there is nowhere to sit but it’s the best in town. I’ve had some cakes here and they were okay, a little dry, but I’m not a huge cake person so take that with a grain of salt.

Oh and they weirdly have free drip coffee too which is brewed quite well.

I'm super excited I moved to town because I'm that much closer to the best pastry shop in town! It's a small place but what they have is amazing and worth the trip if your not in the neighborhood. We love the eclectic mix of baked goods - there are many things here to satisfy your sweet tooth! That's the only problem - what to get? Go with my method: get a bit of everything and eat your way through them. One of my favorites is the chocolate croissant. I wasn't a fan of croissants until I had a real good one a few years ago - well let me tell you - this is amazing.

The cakes & cupcakes are amazing, cookies are great too. Everything I've tried didn't disappoint which is a big deal compared to other places.
