Nice path by the water but it is full of trash and homeless people
Really nice park with a great vibe. Fun place to play on the playground, splash in the creek, have a BBQ, or go for a walk down the trail. Always fun to see how early Alaskan kids will get in the cold water and have fun. Reminds me of my childhood.
One of my favorite hiking spots in the city on East side off Tudor near Benny Benson. Lots of cool trails and right behind HillTop Ski Area. Hikers, people on horses, air landing strip, and a cool place to check out salmon and trout (no fishing allowed.)
I absolutely love this trail system. Last year I used it to commute to work everyday, a nice slice of "wilderness" in the middle of a busy city. Tons of moose make the bike a bit more fun. In the spring/summer/fall I use it for biking, in the winter for skiing. A lot of connections with other parks/trail systems. Definitely worth a checkout if you are in the area. Follows a creek the whole way, lots of wildlife, decent privacy if you commute in the am.
I love going there with our little Louie! He loves walking around there! My husband takes us there quite often! They even supply the little poop bags as well for your little one! Our little Louie mostly sniffs around! I hope you get to go there! It's peaceful! God bless! 😇
