She’s a good combination of encouraging and disciplining the kids—feedback is always balanced with correction and praise. She’s helped us when we’ve needed to get new instruments and supported my oldest in his outside music endeavors. She’s always looking into new ways of teaching, sharing music, and trying to incorporate youth into sharing music with the community. She’s a gem!
(July 31, 2020, 5:20 pm)Joy is an exceptional piano teacher for my 7 year old. She has been working with my child for over a year now and the progress I have seen in a short period is amazing. Patient, professional and detail oriented, Joy is an incredibly talented musician that we value dearly.
