“Great way to spend an afternoon. This museum was super cute and well designed, a perfect place to bring young children. The staff was super friendly and helpful, one of them even gave us an unofficial tour. They have fossils, preserved animals, various rocks and crystals, and lots of displays with info explaining what you see. There are quite a few objects that you are allowed to touch. There is a scavenger hunt for the kids and a play area where they can dig. Totally worth the $8 ticket to get out of the cold and see some interesting things.”

“Now called SonRise Community Church, this is a very welcoming church that offers a variety of ministries with friendly people who head them. They serve lunch after the first service and food distribution the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Most importantly, they stay true to the gospel and deliver a truthful, needed message from the pulpit each week.”
