(December 24, 2016, 11:28 pm)Great way to access the Baxter Bog Trail which is a great 2 mile walk in the winter or summer. If during the summer I would suggest avoiding dawn or dust which seem to be the preferred time for mosquitoes.

907-277-4321. It was described as a peat bog with the only natural lake in east Anchorage. A 5 acre site next to Baxter Bog is known as Pfleiger Park as the land was donated by Mr. Pfleiger.
