(July 29, 2019, 9:46 am)Can’t imagine anything that could have improved our stay. The breakfasts, the rooms, the charming, informative, and very helpful hosts were outstanding.
(July 7, 2019, 7:49 pm)This establishment is absolutely outstanding! It’s walking distance to downtown Anchorage, yet very tranquil. The rooms are modern, well-appointed, and everything is up-to-date and clean. Breakfast is always delicious; jam is made from berries grown on the property. Parks and wildlife are nearby – we saw a moose and her baby 10 minutes after arriving! You have to see the property in person to understand why it’s named “City Garden” – amazing plants!
The owners possess a deep knowledge of the state’s history, it’s people and wildlife. They are always up for a lively discussion. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to friends and colleagues.
