“The badly worn and neglected stain on my cedar siding home was on its last legs, and I couldn't be happier with the results of getting it painted with Greg and GSL. I had a very hard time getting painting contractors to actually follow their word and make a site-visit to actually send me a bid. Of those that did, they didn't match expertise and attention to detail that Greg displayed. He was very up front and honest explaining that while the price would be higher than what I might expect, a lot of prep work would be needed to make sure my home would last for years to come while being painted -- as removing the stain, sanding and making minor repairs to the very worn cedar was crucial for making a long-lasting finish. He was also kind, courteous and always helpful with all my questions (of which I had several), and even when there were a few concerns during the painting process, he made sure to address anything that I was worried about very quickly. From beginning to end, Greg and his crew were professional and showed great care and attention to me as a customer. Greg was quick to remind me that GSL isn't going anywhere, and if I ever had issues with the paint, to give them a call. Our "new" home looks wonderful and I can't recommend them enough!”

“This establishment is absolutely outstanding! It’s walking distance to downtown Anchorage, yet very tranquil. The rooms are modern, well-appointed, and everything is up-to-date and clean. Breakfast is always delicious; jam is made from berries grown on the property. Parks and wildlife are nearby – we saw a moose and her baby 10 minutes after arriving! You have to see the property in person to understand why it’s named “City Garden” – amazing plants! The owners possess a deep knowledge of the state’s history, it’s people and wildlife. They are always up for a lively discussion. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to friends and colleagues.”
