  Greatly enjoyed our stay at Dana's. She was a wealth of information on Anchorage and places to go hiking.

  I would highly recommend this place.
  I had my parents stayed at Dana’s place on their trip through Alaska in August 2018. It was the best B&B on their trip.
  Dana helped them to navigate through Alaska. ( she knows this place very well, from Fairbanks and all the way south). Pointed really good places to visit, to have meal. What to do what not to do.
  My parents are not really fluent in English, so she helped them a lot with car rentals and other small things that only local people know.
  As a cherry on top of the cake she baked a beautiful cake for my Mom’s Birthday.
  If you stay at Dana’s place -you are in good hands.

  Dana was a great hostess, sparkling clean home.
  Maybe a bit too many house rules.

  Dana's Place is a beautiful, well organized, and modern B&B at the edge of the coastal forest and coastal trail, yet not far from the city center. Good vegetarian breakfast and comfortable living room along with a shared bathroom and 3 bedrooms available at a reasonable price.

  When you reach Dana's place, you get a warm greeting from Dana. The fire place is on in the living room. You get to relax with freshly baked cookies and tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The bedroom is beautifully appointed with headboards painted by Dana. The room we stayed in had two queen beds and two full closets with attached bathroom with a bathtub. Dana is good resource for recommendations for good dining in the area and outdoor activities. When you leave, you are asked to leave a hand print on her wall and sign it. It was a great overnight stay. If we make it back to Alaska, we will be back.
