We hosted our son’s graduation party at the Turnagain View Lodge with around 30 guests in attendance. The place is exquisite in every way offering a one of a kind view of the Turnagain arm in a most charming setting. The craftsmanship of the cabin is a work of art and the finishes are detailed and stunning. I have a hard time choosing between opulence and bedazzled to sum it up in a word. Thank you Roger and Arlene for providing this opportunity, two of the warmest and genuine Alaskan neighbors you will ever meet :)
I hosted a graduation party here and was very impressed with what this lodge has to offer. The deck facing Turnagain was gorgeous and spacious. The inside was spotless and comfortable. Kitchen had everything. Arlene and Roger were kind, accommodating and hospitable hosts. The location is just up the road from the highway yet very private. I can see how this space would be a great spot for a wedding. The opportunity for photos with water and mountains in the background was spectacular! If you love a classy yet rustic cabin with views THIS is a place you need to see! Well worth it, highly recommend!
Amazing majestic views and pristine alpine surroundings. Thank you Roger and Arlene Cowles for providing the most spectacular amazing incredible Alaskan venue for the wedding of Lori and Jeff! We could not have asked for anything more. There may not be a more perfect and beautiful place on Gods green earth to tie the knot. The price was right and the service was impeccable! May your business continue to prosper.
We were able to have our wedding at Turnagain View Lodge. The views are spectacular, the hosts are wonderful, friendly and generous people. The lodge is clean, warm and inviting and has everything one would need for a little getaway. I highly recommend this lodge as a venue or just for an overnight comfortable stay.
My son just graduated high school. #Class of 2023. A large group of 20 people or so gathered to celebrate at the Turnagain Lodge. We started at the fire pit outside the lodge. Roger..who is one of the owners started the fire pit for us and kept the fire going until we left. Roger shared with us some stories and history of the lodge. The lodge has 3 stories and each floor has their own beautiful view of the great outdoors of the Turnagain Arm. I highly recommend Turnagain Lodge for the views and the owners make you feel as if you are part of their family. The 20 minute drive south of Anchorage is well worth the trip.
