She had NO MANNERS whatsoever. I politely said,"hello" to her n she ignores it, rings up drinks, throws out her hand for my I.D.(instead of politely asking)tells me my total with an ATTITUDE and doesn't say anything afterwards. The gentlemen thanked me politely as I did in return. She should really work on her customer service or find another job that best suites her rudeness. But I'll keep returning cuz the gas price is good & also good deals on the drinks.”

“My beautiful little cat George was seen today on an emergency visit for an abscess on his little face. They were able to fit him in within 24 hours of calling . The staff were kind and friendly from the smiling receptionist to the assistant and doctor.They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease knowing that I was worried about my baby boy. They close from 1:45 to around 2:20AM for cleaning, so keep that in mind. Roy and Johnny are very pleasant for late night banter, and good at kicking out the rabble. “I just returned from a quick Alaska trip over the weekend and we spent two days fishing Sockeye, Silver and Pink Salmon with Werner, Irene and their staff. I have to say I was absolutely floored by the whole experience. We flew in on a float plane and were greeted by our fishing guide. He directed us to get some breakfast (promptly at 10 AM... listen for the bell!) and then we would be heading out for Salmon. The friend I was with had been to Fireweed in the past and he requested that we head all the way up lake creek for Sockeyes, Dave our guide obliged. The boats are perfect for the river and creek with very shallow draft ability and jet motors to allow very shallow navigation. The drive up the creek was a beautiful as could be, literally looks like you are heading into Jurassic Park! And the creek is crystal clear and beautiful. We were on the Salmon both days and my friend and I both limited out on Sockeye Salmon. You can also target Silvers (Coho) and Pinks (Humpies) but the Sockeye are the best. The cabins are wonderful and simple. Stove, water, electricty, propane heat, clean and very comfortable. The wash house is large and clean. The water for showering was hot as hell even after twenty guys showered! Amazing to me as you are really in the middle of nowhere! The large dining hall is brand new and state of the art. The kitchen could have been transported out of any 5 star restaurant (as well as the food!!) Literally stainless steel everything! The food blew my mind! Huge spreads for breakfast as well as dinner (Promptly at 6PM....listen for the bell!) The camp has a distinctly European feel which just adds to the ambiance. And the price is better than any other camp in the area! Do yourself a favor and check out Fireweed, you will thank me!! See everyone at Fireweed soon and thanks for a great experience!”
