Best of the best. Been attending for over a year and all the instructors are motivating, friendly, and amazing teachers. All classes are tough, but at your current level. There is no guilt about modifying or not being "good enough". They push you to your personal limit and I have grown so much with them over the last year. The students are like family, too. It is a great community.
They have also been putting out workout videos while temporarily closed, which shows how much they care about their students. I miss them all and can't wait to train with them again soon!
I love this facility and can't wait to go back regularly. The staff are fantastic and I have nothing but good things to say.
Been going for about 3 months now. I hadn't done any serious physical activity or training for about four years prior, and was (am) seriously out of shape. That said, whether you're a top athlete or recovering couch potato (and there certainly is such a spectrum of students here, although less of the latter), the instructors are there to accommodate your ability and facilitate your training and growth to the limits of your capability - never to intimidate or shame. They are the right mix of get-on-your-butt / encouraging / supporting. Their professionalism and commitment to safety become quickly apparent to the new student. I can say the same of virtually all the other people I've been training with, resulting in a sense of camaraderie among the male and female students in a positive, comfortable environment.
Classes are challenging and serious ... yet they are fun! I look FORWARD to class, rather than dreading it. The classes are varied, dynamic, and engaging.
The facility is modern, very clean and organized, and is comfortable to be in.
There is no "up-sale" pressure. Obviously they want you to come back, but they tell you up front "if you didn't like what you saw today (in your trial class) - you're not gonna like the program." Want to sign a contract - go ahead. Don't wanna? Then don't. Due to external factors, I have remained month-to-month, and there has never been one iota of pressure on me to sign a larger commitment, other than the opportunity is there if I decide I want it in the future to save a little in tuition. I "sat in" on a few other Krav places in the area when researching the right program for me - and the places' pressure to sign large commitments was really intense...not the case here at all. You'll have to buy a little gear for the classes, but when I priced the gear, it was completely inline with what sport shops and online places are selling it for. They are not trying to get rich off the little bit of gear they sell -- they are offering it there for convenience and so that they can make sure you get the right gear for your body and your goals
Lastly, I found TB's monthly tuition to be considerably lower than some other offerings in the area, and the fact that they do not have a weekly cap on the amount of sessions you can attend and don't require you to pay to "add on" other courses (e.g. if you want to add "Fight" sessions to the straight "Krav" sessions, you do not have to pay additional tuition) is something that some other programs in the area cannot say.
So...to state the obvious....I'm very pleased to have found this training program!!
This place is absolutely amazing, always been a thrill seeker and React Defense Chandler definately provides me with the adrenaline to get through my week. Only trained here for three months, but all the instructors are super dope and know what they are doing. Will sign up for another year.
