Nikki really came to my rescue with my 4th baby. I was struggling and felt like I was failing at something, I felt, I should have known how to fix on my own. My son had a horrible latch, leaked milk out of the corners of his mouth, had the hiccups all the time and was so gassy. I never would have thought I would need so much support after already having 3 children, but it’s so true what they say, each baby is so different.
Nikki’s help and breastfeeding support was invaluable and I think changed the course of my breastfeeding experience this time around.
She provided great advice and education on various breastfeeding positions, pumping/flange sizes and changes that helped relieve some of my pain. In addition, we were able to diagnose a tongue and lip restriction due to her experience which also helped tremendously. Nikki made herself available to me with any questions and concerns outside of my appointments which made me feel like I had constant support through out my journey.
I am so grateful for finding her when I did!
I just finished seeing Nikki for help with my second baby. I wish I had known about her with my first and I wish I had seen her even sooner with my second. She walked us through having a second tongue revision and was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her and HIGHLY recommend you see her if you will be breastfeeding, whether you are having any issues or not.
Thank you so, so much, Nikki!
My experience with Nikki was incredible. After we discharged from the hospital we immediately made an appointment with Nikki because we were very concerned with our baby's ability to breastfeed. Our baby spent some time in the NICU and we were very overwhelmed. Seeing Nikki not only provided some much needed support we needed as parents, but she took the time to ensure we had a good latch and proper positioning. Nikki made sure we felt well supported with breastfeeding, pumping and completing our tongue/ lip stretches as our baby had a tongue tie and lip tie release. I could not stress how helpful seeing Nikki was. Being a first time mom, I quickly learned that it does take a village to raise a baby and we are so grateful that Nikki was apart of ours.
Nikki is amazing and our experience was life changing for me and baby! I went to Nikki a couple weeks post-partum unable to breastfeed due to severe pain and damage. Nikki immediately identified a potential restriction and referred us to a specialist. Once that was fixed, she worked with me on positions, how to best support baby and pumping schedules to prepare for work. Nikki genuinely cares about her clients and babies, and you can tell through how she treats you from start to finish. I am so thankful for everything she has done for our family and would recommend her 100% to anyone looking to breastfeed but experiencing challenges.
Nikki is amazing. I am so thankful we were referred to her by our pediatrician when my baby girl was losing weight. I was so nervous and stressed out but Nikki was very informative and eased my concerns immediately. Our little one had a tongue and lip tie that was preventing her from breastfeeding efficiently. Nikki referred us to a few different doctors to perform a procedure to release the ties, which we did. This immediately improved her feeding. Nikki is wonderful and will assist you on your journey, no matter what it looks like. She understands there is no one solution for every family and will help you find what works best for not only baby but mom too. She sincerely cares and there is a reason it’s called “gentle touch” lactation! I can’t recommend her enough.
