“I have been going to Dr. Johnson over this last year to treat some back pain. I was hesitant at first because my only other experience with a chiropractor was not good, but I was referred to Dr. Johnson by a friend (whose whole family and many of their friends go to her) so I gave it a shot. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Johnson started out sitting and asking about my pain, the cause, and anything should could glean from me. She took her time to really understand everything about the problem before starting treatment. This was refreshing. Then when it came time for treatment it was well thought out and gentle. She told me what she was doing along the way, and used very little force. It felt like she was working with my body to heal itself, as oppose to forcing my body where she wanted it to go. VERY different than my last experience where I felt like I was a rag doll being thrown around. After a few treatments and doing the homework Dr. Johnson gave me (stretching and strengthening exercises), I am feeling 100% again. Note that it is only her in the practice. The advantage is that you get 100% of her time. The disadvantage is that when you call you will need to leave a message and she will call you back to schedule your appt. Again, I highly recommend.”
