“Delightfully surprised by this gem of a snack bar/cafe nestled in the Desert Botanical Garden! The menu offers good variety and the food was fresh. In particular, the salads were special and interesting. The kids meal was generous, though it would be great if it included a little drink. Decent patio but it fills up quickly during busy periods. There is also additional seating around the corner. Above all, the service was exceptional! I had to wait a bit longer for my food (someone behind me in line took my order) and the staff comped me a giant, fudgey brownie for the trouble. I LOVE that the employees are empowered to make decisions like that. Customer service is the backbone of any business. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to have a better system for calling out orders during busy times because it's rather haphazard as is. Highly recommend an affordable and tasty lunch here if you're exploring the gardens!”

“This is a great space in a good location. It’s clean and comfortable. What a perfect place to relax or visit with friends. The baristas are friendly. The drinks are tasty, with a nice selection. My favorites are the Vietnamese coffee and the cold brew tea drinks. Prices are fair. Make sure to have the app and join the loyalty program.”

“Luanas has my heart. Truly a hidden gem in Phoenix!! I’ve been getting coffee from Luanas ever since they were located on Bell Road with their little coffee stand. Then I moved and coincidentally they moved into a spot right around the corner from me and then they had to move again to the location they are at now. Over the years, they have been true to their word, honest to customers, slang the best food and drinks and never disappoint. You can come here for coffee, beers, cocktails, breakfast, lunch, dinner, to get work done, date spot, trivia and you’ll just enjoy it.”

“This place is a gem! I’m always exploring coffee shops and with that always finding a spot with good food as well and this place is definitely that. We love going here when we want a quick bite to eat or don’t really want to a lot of money on breakfast. Our go to is any seasonal latte they have or white zombie! For food we always get the sausage burrito and pizza bagel (with cream cheese) and the sandwich is also yummy!”

“I highly recommend this coffee bar. You will enjoy the “experience “ It well decorated, speakeasy style. You will need to find a “password “ in order to get to the secret bar area. Really great cocktails. Friendly and professional staff. I liked the food we ordered. I would give it 5 stars if the will slightly increase the portion of the melted Brie cheese. We had a lady’s night out. I will bring more friends soon so they can experience this great place !”

“The banisters are always friendly, and food is always good no matter what you purchase. Decent prices, I really like the mobile app, need in more areas. It's always busy, but that lets you know how great the food is.”

“Only issue is the limited parking thanks to it being in an apartment complex Known as Vaseo. Otherwise it's a cute little cafe lounge with a pool nearby & the menu rotates however the food was perfection. Definitely a rated chef or one that should be. Food service wore gloves & proper uniform in the kitchen. If you love sushi you will be amazed by the quality made on site! It's food fusion however it's fusion done right. Parking is only 15 minutes out front of the cafe so I recommend going when less people are home to borrow one of their parking spots to eat & chill. Has a nice mini gas station style grocery section if you want snacks for the road trip home too & alcohol if you want some nice wines. Over all a nice little shop vibe.”

“This place is the REAL DEAL. All baked goods, sauces, breads, and desserts made FRESH from scratch. The only way someone would put themselves through the tireless efforts of making this stuff is love and passion. And everything is just absolutely perfectly balanced. I have eaten here three times, though I wish it were 20. Such an amazing little local spot.”

“When you're visiting the amazing Heard Museum and you don't need a full blown meal at the Heard Courtyard Cafe, stop in at the Heard Coffee Cantina located adjacent to the Cafe and just a few steps from the museum exit. Great selection of fresh brews. My espresso shot-coffee is deeply flavorful but not bitter as I sit in the sunny courtyard and sip my cuppa Joe. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. Very pleasant friendly staff. A nice way to end an hour-long self-guided tour of the Heard Museum.”

“Great coffee and place to get a little work done. This was my first time at the Buzzed Goat and it lived up to all buzz I have heard about the place. I would recommend starting with a cold brew “the goat.” Not to sweet. Just perfect. The cold brew “mojito” was unexpected. Coffee and mint would not be something I thought I would enjoy, but it was terrific. The location is perfect with food trucks outside. You can spend an entire morning there!”

“Friendly staff excellent service. Delicious inventive new take on breakfast. Perfect place for a brunch. Vegan friendly. My friend and I shared the Hatch chili smoked pulled pork Benedict and in house made corned beef hash.. Can't wait to come back. Bloody Kicker Mary is a perfect cocktail to start.”

“Dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, takes cash and card. Walk right in and have a seat where you'd like and a helpful and friendly server will be right with you! Not too many frills once you get inside, but the vibe is definitely all-diner and you're feeling at home. The menu sports traditional breakfast and lunch offerings. I had The Easy Does It and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Also, that was easily the best biscuit I've had since I left my home state of Georgia! Definitely recommended, as Joe's will now become part of my weekend plans.”

“Plenty of street parking available, takes cash and card and serves food during the day and Tea till close. There are some cool seats in the windows sills, but otherwise a few two-tops line the walls with some comfy chairs to complement them. The music is chill and the ambience is great! And what a unique place...where else will give you free tea for simply picking up some trash from Grand Ave? It's this kind of stuff that's lacking in this world! Plus, the tea is DELICIOUS and thoughtfully steeped/brewed. There is a great selection available on the boards, but they also have a "build your own tea" area with lots of cool options to choose from. Not a tea expert? Totally fine, just ask all the questions you want, as the staff is friendly and ready to help. Plus, they're open late on weekends! Really dig this cool and unique space both for their tea and food offerings as well as the creativity and love for the community. Please swing by when you're in the area--definitely recommended! Just wanted to come back here and add that today I had the frittata with arugula salad and "seedy toast" and it was delicious!”

“☕️🔝As someone who loves the great outdoors and a good cup of coffee, my boyfriend and I recently rode our SurRons to Starbucks for a morning coffee date. We were blown away by the fantastic experience we had, and we were glad we chose to stop at this location. As we sat on the patio, sipping our Salted Caramel Cold brews, we were treated to a stunning sunrise, which only added to the idyllic atmosphere. The drinks were lovely and perfectly complemented the scenic surroundings. The salted caramel flavor was just the right amount of sweetness, and the cold brew was refreshing. What stood out to us was the fantastic customer service we received from the staff. They were kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even offered suggestions for other coffee drinks to try the next time we visited, which was a nice personal touch. The atmosphere of this Starbucks location was also impressive. The patio had ample seating and offered a great view of the surrounding nature, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. We also appreciated the bike-friendly location and ample parking for our SurRons. Overall, our experience at this Starbucks location was fantastic. From the stunning sunrise and scenic surroundings to the delicious Salted Caramel Cold brews and friendly staff, everything was just perfect. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee in a beautiful outdoor setting. Starbucks gets a solid 5-star rating from us!”

“Nice coffee shop in an old historic home. Right next to some new high rises. Ordered the special of the day, which was great. It was a hot drink too, and I usually order cold brew. Look forward to trying that next time. I also ordered their healthier cookie with oats, nuts, and dried berries which was pretty good too. The girl taking our order was also friendly and helped explain some of the menu items to us. They have one larger front room (pictured below) as well as another smaller room with a couch and some other chairs, that is also where they make the coffee.”

“I stopped by this morning and grabbed a vanilla latte and blueberry muffin. Both were amazing! Love the atmosphere and came back for a bagel with cream. Lui made my bagel and it was the best I've ever had. Thank you Lui and thank you being so polite and loved our conversation. Will definitely come back again and recommend this coffee shop to everyone I know. ❤️”

“Food is creative and delicious, and the patio is a wonderful place to sit when the weather is nice. They had live music that was enjoyable and not too loud - we could still carry on a conversation. Parking wasn't great, but there were neighboring streets we were comfortable parking on.”

“Love coming to this place the line is never long. They're friendly quick and have such delicious pastries as well as really good coffee. So glad we moved closer to this location now we can have it so much more frequently. It is absolutely delicious highly recommend if you're ever in the area. be warned there is construction on Central Avenue though. Nothing the café can do but it might be tricky to maneuver around for some.”

“Been wanting to come here since the summer and finally tried it yesterday and I'm so bummed I waited so long. Instantly loved the vibe and the food here! First, they take your order and pay before being seated to a table so know what you want so you don't hold up the line. You can basically order anything on it and you're gonna love it. I knew I wanted the Monte Cristo and I was not disappointed! It was stupid GOOD! I don't want to seem like I'm over hyping this place but I really did thoroughly enjoy the food here. I also tried their delicious rosemary potatoes and housemate chips. Coffee was also yummy. This will be a returning spot for sure.”
