“Of all the dog parks in the area, this one seems to be the cleanest/best maintained, and frequented by people who have invested at least some basic training time with their dogs. We’re typically here once or twice a week, and I can’t think of a time we’ve had to deal with aggressive dogs or questionable owners. If you have a very young, small, passive or timid dog, this would be a great place to begin socializing as they have an area specifically for those purposes - and the active dog areas are large enough so that your pup can get some space if need be. We also like the fact that this place is so well-lit at night, so that our dog can still safely enjoy off-leash time in the summer when the sun goes down; there are also water fountains in and outside the park areas to keep things cool, which as you know is key for any active dog in AZ.”

“I just visited Burrito Express for the first time a few weeks ago. I had heard of them but never remembered to check them out. I love breakfast burritos and so many places charge too much for them (in my opinion.) Burrito Express is really affordable and has quite a few options. The service was quick, cashier was friendly and I really liked the online ordering option. I decided to try a bacon, egg burrito add cheese and green chili. I mistakenly thought the green chili option was for green chili beef so I was a bit disappointed with that but it was my misunderstanding. The burrito was good overall but having paid extra for cheese I wasn’t happy when there was one tiny glob of it added in. I’ll just add my own from now on. I didn’t see any green chili pieces either but I could have missed them. A few days ago I returned and just got the bacon and egg burrito which was a bit bland but their salsa verde is really good and helped significantly to add more flavor! Overall, I’ll be going back again to try some other combinations. One big downside is that they’re only open until 3pm.”

I go to Starbucks every day of my life and it’s always a treat when where I’m going has this specific Starbucks on its path. Whatever this location is doing to keep staff happy is working. “Diane was really wonderful to work with! I was at a loss of how to decorate my condo. I had a few pieces of furniture that she rearranged to make better use of the space. I appreciated her willingness to work with what I had. She quickly put together a color scheme for the unit and we were able to add a number of accessories. If there was something I did not like she was flexible and found the "perfect" piece for me. “I have never really needed physical therapy, and I am eternally grateful that after hand surgery I ended up under the watchful eye of Wanda at Desert Hand and Physical Therapy. Her compassion is evident in the way she treats each individual patient and encourages them to keep at the hard work with a sense of humor. She is creative with her “tools” and that makes it enjoyable to move through each step along the way as my strength improves. Recovery is not an easy process for me, and she is eternally patient while I ask multiple questions about the whole process. The support staff here is very positive as well and they work well as a team. Communication is key at this location and it is well handled from the initial appointment forward.”

“This store and their staff are awesome! I have a mastiff puppy with some allergies and a touchy tummy, and it’s almost impossible to find a kibble to mix into her food that doesn’t give her issues. I came in and let the staff know what I was looking for and the shop attendant was so helpful! She even called some other staff for some input. A puppy with chicken and grain allergies isn’t easy to feed and they made it so much less stressful and even had additional recommendations to help out my pup. Forever my go-to for all my pet needs”

“If you’re considering getting permanent eyeliner, Permanent Effects is the place to have it done. A mother daughter team are the proprietors and they are careful, talented and friendly women. I was concerned that I might look like a clown by getting my eyeliner done but Brittney understood what I wanted, mixed colors to make certain it wouldn’t be too dark, and did a perfect job. “A taste of home even far away. This is the closest I have found to American or Lafayette Coney Island. The dogs are steamed and have that ballpark texture like in Detroit and the chili is what I remember. I wasn't here long enough to try a lot of other menu items, however the mozzarella sticks are a good size and taste delicious. The wings are meaty and the buffalo sauce is also good. This would have been a 5-star if the wings were cooked enough to remove any pink. Pretty cool atmosphere with patio and full bar, and this is a place I will return to each visit I make to Scottsdale.”
