  Three years ago today my son was born. Breastfeeding went fine until we got home. My son was crying constantly and only seemed satisfied when he was latched. I followed the hospitals directions and tried to pump. But when nothing came out I was sure something was wrong. Again, I followed the hospitals advice and gave him formula. The next day I made an appointment with the ABC and they were able to get me in that day. They explained that what was happening was normal and not a reason to give formula. They showed me how to tell if my son was actually getting anything. And they encouraged me to keep breastfeeding him so my supply would come in. He never had another drop of forimula. I went back to the work at two months pp and was still able to exclusively breastfeed for his first year. I breastfed until he was 2 years old and 3 months. I am confident that if it weren’t for ABC I wouldn’t have continued breastfeeding at all. Because of my visit with them, I continued to breastfeed for over two years. I have a healthy, happy three year old who I should mention has never had an ear infection and has only been sick a handful of times. I’m very grateful for that visit.

  Helped with position and latch issues. I was able to enjoy feeding my little girl.

  I love this place. I see Desiree, she's a life saver. I was referred to her by a consultant I love, Debbie Gallespee, who no longer took my insurance. Every appt we had an amazing time. We diagnosed tongue tie (the drs missed it and with our family history and latch issues),we discussed ways to work with it and through the healing of the procedure. She comforted me during a very emotional time. We discussed chiropractic care, which I'm a huge advocate of anyway. My son was seen at a week old, my daughter at 4 days. I was taking them even before I saw Desiree. Anyway, I can't say enough about this group! I owe my success to them. We are at 4 months and going strong and I will use them during the transitions to come like introducing solids and teething.

  I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for this group of IBCLCs. Without a doubt, my family owes our success to them. They helped me come to terms with having low supply, while offering suggestions to try to improve it. They diagnosed my son's tongue tie after a doctor did not. I felt like their guidance was more in line with my instincts, which was settling to me during a very emotional time. These women mean more to my husband and I than any other professionals we have encountered during our parenthood thus far.
