“Granny Nannies was superior. I contacted Jeff from there and he was not only able to find my mother a night sitter, but on Christmas Eve. Her name was Catalina and she was the most caring, thoughtful person. Also needed a day sitter, forgot her name but she was awesome as well. Needed someone on Christmas too and Catalina was available. Would give 6 stars if I could. Also- Jeff followed up a few days later to check if I needed their services again. Highly recommended.”

“Having Terry sell my mother’s house was the best decision I could have made. My mom was nervous about the whole process and was concerned that the buyer would take advantage of her inexperience in selling a house. Terry was able to come in and explain every step in the process to her. He was in constant communication with both of us to ensure we understood what was going on from beginning to end. There was never any “background” work that we were not aware of. Terry not only kept us in the loop, he made sure we were the ones controlling the loop. His advice was grounded in facts and not opinion. He was honest and told us what we needed to know, not what we wanted to know to make us feel better. His honesty and straight forward manner allowed us to know exactly what was going on instead of wondering. Terry gave us sound advice to improve the curb appeal, list the house at a reasonable price, and was always available to answer questions we had. He helped me arrange a landscape contractor to do some work in her front and back yard which I feel was the reason we received the offer we ultimately took. From the day the sign was displayed in the front yard we began receiving calls from interested buyers. Terry helped us go through them all and allowed us to decide on which one we thought would be the best for us. He gave his suggestions, and spoke from experience, but he gave us final word on every decision. The offer we ultimately accepted was after three days of the listing. The house closed about two weeks later. Most importantly, Terry was patient and kind with my mom. He comforted her when she would be nervous or upset about selling her house. After the sale of her house and everything was completed, he reached out to us to see how my mom was doing and how she liked her new home. He went above and beyond what I would expect from a real estate agent. He became part of the family and a friend and I can never thank him enough for what he did for my mom. Terry was the perfect realtor for my family, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you.”

“The dessert gem of Tempe, finally! Not only did I walk into the Red Apron bakery today and have the most delicious, most satisfying cupcakes, a family tradition was born, because I’m going to need more of this place in my life. The cupcake were guilt free, usually I feel like cupcakes are never as yummy as they look, but i guess I’ve been just eating cupcakes from the wrong place because these were amazing. Fresh, mouthwatering, wanting to just keep eating more, I can’t not underline how good these were. They shops decor is really cute, and they kept it simple, you don’t have to try overly hard when your product is this good. They had signature and rotating flavors so there is always something new to try, yet they will always have your favorite. The cost is very reasonable. The range of this shop makes it the perfect stop for afterschool treat or date night, or pick me up for your office like we did! Fresh hot cinnamon rolls, cold brew, danish. And the service was amazing I felt like an old friend just popping in to get a treat!!! Gluten free cupcake available! Treats for pawed friends too! Can’t wait to try it again!”

“Great property. Front desk staff was friendly, albeit somewhat limited in efficiency as they seemed to be having some delays with their computer system. They handled this with grace and charm. The bartender was very professional, greeting every customer and even though during my week long stay I only went to the bar 2 times, he remembered by drink choice. The rooms are clean, spacious and seem to be recently renovated or just new. The mattress and sheets are very comfortable. The shade on the widow is more of a Roman style shade, which is great for those of you who cannot sleep if there is any light coming through. These provide total blackout conditions. There is a weird blinking light though on the fire alerting system which strobes throughout the night (nothing a hand towel thrown over it cannot handle). When I had housekeeping services, the cleaned the room well but were not as thorough in replacing coffee cups and bottled water. The location is well situated, and because it’s set back from the main roads, it is quiet and peaceful. I’ll certainly stay here on future trips to Tempe and recommend this location to colleagues.”
