“This vet is so friendly and have genuine concern for fur babies. They are also unbelievably affordable. I use THEM for vaccinations and minor concerns for my boys and took my grandpup (85lbs at the time, White German Shepherd) to be spayed. She is not 100% people friendly, so we had a muzzle on her. When we picked her up, they said she was wonderful and she gave them kisses.. what does that tell you?? I love this clinic.”

“They are so helpful and inexpensive. I love how they always give you a quote of how much it will be for your visit letting you know right away before you’re just stuck with the bill. Every time I have came here they have been helpful with both my dogs and my cats. I had them even undergo surgery and they came out just fine without any issues. The staff is also very friendly, they definitely don’t have that sort of fake attitude towards pets.”

“Here’s the deal: these guys are great. They are kind, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Oh, and honest. My last vet was in the “pharmacy-up-charge” and “do-tests-without-mentioning-costs-until-it’s-too-late” business; these guys offered pricing of everything up front and we’re all for suggesting less-profitable options. While the building is on the north side of the lake on car-repair-row (I’ve seen more elegant structures in Depression era photos), the inside is modern and really nice. The staff was all super sweet and gentle. The vet seemed like he used to be a country livestock doctor (was no nonsense), but I liked knowing he knew exactly what needed to be done. The rest of the staff made up with the lovey dovey factor.. The vet even personally did phone follow up twice. I’ll be a lifelong customer!”

I called to find out information about boarding for my dog. With the information I had given her their facility probably wouldnt be the best fit for me but she went above and beyond to provide me with additional information on where to look and call and even said that if the information provided didn't work to call her back and she would help me find something else! “I walked on part of this path from the Phoenix Zoo/ Papago Park area (next to the Hole in the Rock). It's concrete and nicely paved. Unfortunately, there wasn't much shade. Didn't see many hikers, most a few bikes going along the trail. It got hot, so I had to turn back. Edit: This path apparently also extends to Scottsdale (not sure if same one but did see the labeled sign along the path.) I was able to access this path from the G.R. Herberger Park. There were some nice trees in blossom along the way, however this part of the trail was close to the street- so a bit noisy.”

“Another awesome experience at Countryside Animal Hospital. I went there for a check up for one of my dogs and brought my second one to teach her its not a scary place. My vet, Dr. Widener, was able to sit down and talk to me about specific medications for my dog and also they were able to do blood tests on both even though I only scheduled one appointment. Dr. Widener is absolutely wonderful and is so caring to my animals. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. One of my dogs is very vocal and excited and the staff thankfully never gets mad at us. I am so grateful for this place and won't take my four animals anywhere else.”
