“I had a six week old kitten that was born premature that had an upper respiratory infection. I needed to get him into a vet as soon as possible. I called my normal vet and they told me they could not get him in for two weeks but that he needed to be seen that day. I did an Internet search and came up with Queen Creek animal services. I had an appointment the next morning at 9:30. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. They were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Their rates were very reasonable. I think I have found myself a new pet doctor. I would highly recommend these people”

“When our dog Tom was exhibiting signs of distress, we called our usual vet but were not able to be seen for a couple of weeks. Given he was 15 yrs old and rapidly showing decline, there was no way I was willing to wait and put him through that. An emergency room was my last choice so I opted to call around and was able to finally land on Best Friends who agreed to see us. Sadly, the news was worse than we would have hoped for (but tried to be prepare for). The entire staff treated us as though we had been long term patients, giving us options and not trying to sell us on expensive, low percentage procedures. When we made the hard choice, they were quickly supportive, and comforting, and offered to help us even though by that time it was getting late and close to closing. They didn't even seem to look at the clock, just got down to the business of making both us and Tom as comfortable as they could. As they took our old man to the back room, they asked if we would like a paw imprint. My first reaction was that I didn't think that necessary, that I wasn't "one of those people," and that I really didn't want to think about that at that moment, but I agreed, both to be polite, and to "hedge my bets" in case I changed my mind. When it was all said and done, they handed me that casting and I could see my friends "finger print swirls" in the thing, and I have to tell you it instantly became very important to me, and I had to really fight to keep it together. As far as the procedure, the doctor was gentle and caring, both with Tom and my wife and I, and I cant express how much that helped in saying goodbye to the friend we made with that once tiny puppy so many years earlier. The technician came back and helped us prepare our not-so-little anymore guy for transport, equally as gentle and caring. I felt at that point I should write a review, tho its not something I normally do. As it is in life, I let other things push that back until a few days later I got a card wishing us condolences, signed by the entire staff, and many describing Tom and the experience they had with him the short time we had left him there for evaluation. I would feel utterly negligent in not sharing my experience with Best Friends Animal Hospital, and I would recommend them to anyone.”

“We have used the vets at Apollo since we moved to the valley 22 years ago. Their vets are extremely professional, skilled and efficient as well as caring. They are very busy but they will work to make sure your pets are cared for in as timely fashion as possible. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Even on extremely busy days they take the time to assess the speed with which you need to be seen. They take explicit notes to relay info to the docs and get answers for your questions and needs quickly when they are able to. I highly recommend this practice to care for your pets. “I walked on part of this path from the Phoenix Zoo/ Papago Park area (next to the Hole in the Rock). It's concrete and nicely paved. Unfortunately, there wasn't much shade. Didn't see many hikers, most a few bikes going along the trail. It got hot, so I had to turn back. Edit: This path apparently also extends to Scottsdale (not sure if same one but did see the labeled sign along the path.) I was able to access this path from the G.R. Herberger Park. There were some nice trees in blossom along the way, however this part of the trail was close to the street- so a bit noisy.”
