  Do not try doing this if you are out of shape. You are only asking for trouble if you think this is like a stroll in the local park. Dress appropriately. Bring some snacks and WATER. Good hiking or running shoes. NO flip flops. Wear a hat and sunscreen. When you arrive at the end point you will discover that the water is hot. DO NOT drink the water and do not let the water get into your nose or mouth. Don't throw your trash on the ground. There are no facilities. There are no trash cans. Just use common sense. Total trip is approximately 5.2 miles(2.6 each way). Also...this trail is closed during June and July...

  We had a great hike! Fun and super worth it- just challenging enough. Bring water unless you want to die.

  Great moderate hike. Beautiful slot canyons, river, hot springs. Take lots of water, and do not hike it in the heat.

  Great six or 7 mile hike round-trip excellent Hot Springs clean, hot water. Beautiful views excellent scenery along the trail. Watch out for rattlesnakes!

  LOST MY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES AT THE TRAILHEAD PARKING. Saturday April 6 around noon. If somebody found a case with my reading glasses, please contact me. Black case with green trim. It is a beautiful park, the hot springs are phenomenal. We had a great hike in and out. Please hope to get my prescription glasses back. Thanks!!
