“Update: I went in, and explained what I wasn't happy about on the glasses and what I'd want changed. They made all the changes free of charge, only thing is the lenses weren't in the shape I picked BUT it was free and I believe that's my fault in not properly communicating that, so not on them. The glasses ended up looking and feeling great either way. I've been getting my glasses here since I was a kid back in the early 2000s and they've always been great, so I won't let that one uncomfortable interaction/mix up deter me from coming back. All in all, great customer service. I picked put one of their higher end glasses and spent over $1300 for the pair. When I picked then up I wasn't sure, but the lenses seemed to be a different shape and they kept falling off my face while I work (with my job I can't be pushing them up every 5 mins) so we went back in-side note, I have severe social anxiety and moderate agoraphobia, and returning/complaining is something i just dont do, i feel really bad about it. But these are my glasses, i need to see so this day I mentally prepped myself, told myself everything will be fine. The lady that "helped" me was dismissive and...I don't know how to explain it but she spoke to me like I was being demanding (I wasn't, I was super nervous and felt bad and was trying to be as polite as possible) with other customers watching, she looks at my receipt and says "it's not itemized so I can't tell if the lense shape was accidentally changed, but the lady who helped you isn't here....you know she has a family and can't work 24/7 as if i was being demanding...*me with my 7 month old son behind me* I smiled politely looked down at my son, and said "I know all about that. No worries." And asked if she could at least fix the glasses from coming off my face. She then went into the back and bent the edge of my glasses into a hook...so as a female with long hair..a hook-wich catches onto said long hair, a hook doesn't work very well. So I said that and she then said well we need to order some smaller ones, and then told me I'll have to come back when the lady who initially checked me out is working....so I wasted a whole bunch of time. I'm pretty sure this woman could've helped me but didn't feel like it and also projected some seemingly negative preconceived notions about me and put me down and dismissed me infront of other customers. At this point I don't know if I want to go get my glasses fixed or just wave bye bye to that $1300 I spent...I don't know if I can't handle another awkward interaction like that.”

“OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! First time in for dinner on a Sunday night. Assumed I'd be walking into your typical neighborhood sports bar. Expecting loud, cramped and busy. You know what they say about assuming!!!!! It's a seat yourself place where you do not have to turn sideways to walk between tables!! It's clean and the chairs don't match. Which I love. You can easily tell that the owners care more about the neighborhood and the neighbors than spending way too much money on matching chairs. There was only 1 server tonight. Yes, 1. Her name is Isabelle and she was AMAZING!!! There is a pool table, a pinball machine and CORK dart boards!!! Quirky and interesting decor, it was not freezing cold inside, the bathroom was clean, the bartenders helpful and friendly (don't skimp on liquor in drinks) and holy God the food..... The FOOD!!!! Mozzarella sticks, Garlic Butter Burger with wedges and Ugly Steak Sandwich with tots. My 19 year old and I love Mozz sticks and the ones at Thirsty's are by far, the BEST we've ever had. The Burger was perfection on a bun. The ugly steak sammie..... WOW! Those tater tots? I was to full to finish them, had like 6-8 tots left on my plate....Guys, I asked for box and took those glorious 6 tots home. This is a place I can take my 84 year old Mom to, a place I can take my 4 & 6 year old nephews to and this is a place that I would feel completely safe being alone warming a bar stool as a woman. As a past server and bartender myself, I'm picky. Really picky. Thirsty's is a spot that my normally social anxiety riddled 19 year old daughter said she would be okay to chill alone at a table, enjoy amazing food and actually pull out her sketchbook and get lost in her art for an hour or two. I'll be going back. Often. I must try all the things, play all the games, meet all the people and finally be able to say "my home bar is Thirsty's"!”

“Went to watch the Sunnyside vs Rincon football game at the stadium. At half time the score was 35 to 0.. Sunnyside This park is a beautiful park. Green grass, well maintained fields, CLEAN. Nice covered play area. Plenty of picnic tables. There's a pool (not sure if it's open). Unfortunately, the basketball, meeting rooms are all closed. Sitting and going to waste.”

“In short: Truly one of the best body shops in Tucson. 5/5. Efficient, professional, capable, and reliable. The story: A few years ago, a deer jumped in front of my car. Don't worry though. It was a Texas deer, not a local. You wouldn't have known him. Fortunately, the damage was *mostly* superficial. Japanese engineering being what it is, my car kept driving for almost two full years. Granted, I only had half a front grille. Also, I didn't have A/C during that time & the driver door wouldn't open all the way. But I drove with the windows down. And I used the other three doors. It was fine. Just fine. Until I went to In-N-Out when it was 116 degrees outside. I was waiting, and sweating, and cursing, but I got my burger. And then my radiator finally exploded in a huge, alarming cloud of smoke and fluid. Dang you, In-N-Out. I ordered a side of fries, not Tuesday afternoon chaos. That's not nearly as tasty. My usual mechanic at Big O Tires informed me that "we cannot put a straight piece into such a...we'll call it CURVED spot. Sorry." Fortunately, they knew who could. A friend named Alonzo and his team. I delivered my car to Klassi Kar basically unannounced on a Monday morning. I told them the issue, what I needed (or at least, what I thought I needed), and took the next Uber back to work. One call, several texts, and three days later, my car wasn't just running. It was REBUILT. Stronger. Faster. Blacker. Better. The list of parts Alonzo and his team replaced was about as long as my arm. They themselves went out in search of new parts even while hammering what they could back into place. And they charged me a more than reasonable rate. I had my car back in under a week, with a new radiator, compressor, hood, grille, everything. They did an excllent job. Thank you, Alonzo & crew. I'll be back. ...wait...no, actually I hope I won't. But! If those Texas deer come back for revenge, you'll be the first I call. Cheers, Max”
