“We always visit local museums when we travel and this one was a wonderful surprise. A small museum but it tells colorful stories about local history. I loved the one room school house. My daughter was impressed with the basket weaving demonstration. Definitely a great place to visit.”

“Ots of trains on display with people on site to talk and explain the history. A great place for train buffs, quite large with a good deal of walking on smooth crushed rock if you want to see a lot of the displays from the out side. We'll worth the price of admission ($5.00). I had a great time and will certainly return.”

“Our favourite spot during holidays. Plan to visit during winter when they run the trains decorated with lights. You will love it. Kids would really enjoy the rides. Do not miss the train museum where your kid will get a chance to operate the model trains on their own.”

“Fun short, easy walk through a desert scene with labeled plant life until you come upon the petroglyph areas. Some stunning views through pipe placement. Takes some time to see lots of them...you could be there for hours! Nice, fun, unusual stop.”

“Wow! Love, love, LOVED this museum!!! It was a GREAT experience that I recommend everyone to go to. It’s probably best for ages 7+ just so they can appreciate the museum. It’s very interesting how the headsets work, and you’ll understand more when you go. The exhibits are amazing, and the instruments are very interesting. The museum is made even better with the audio clips for each country/region they focus on. It’s so expansive, that I’d recommend a good 3.5 to 4 hours to be able to have enough time to really absorb everything. I was there for around 2 and a half hours, and still wasn’t able to go through all of it. Overall, I’d really recommend going to it if you’re in the Phoenix area and if you have a good half of your day to spend there.”

“A gem if you're at all interested in cars and auto paraphernalia. They have a bit of everything from antique toy car models, gas pumps, mechanic tools, a working carousel, and of course cars. Antique cars, race cars, vintage cars, and some modern day cars. It's all well maintained, polished and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They run on donation so there's no charge to enter, but if you can donate $10 per person it helps them keep the place running. In my opinion it's worth it. For time consideration, you might spend an hour looking at everything, two hours or more if cars are a passion and you want to read all the information and inspect them all. It's a good way to spend a morning or afternoon. Small children might get bored as in any museum, but kids who like cars will like it. It has some funny exhibits, carousel, and a driving video game, plus plenty of cars with custom paint that's very eye catching for all ages. If it were a board game I would recommend ages 5 to 105.”

“We enjoyed a free, knowledgeable, and informative tour of this new museum. We came away with a good understanding of Chandler history. The exhibit on the internment of Japanese American citizens during WWII is well-done and worth exploring. We also enjoyed the artworks derived from ordinary objects.”
