“We were on our way to a Mexican restaurant next door because tacos just seem to be our go to when eating out. The taco place was closed and this place looked good. I am SO glad we stopped. Definitely worth 5 stars, the owners were super sweet and the food was delicious! We got the dumplings, lamb shank and a chicken kabob. Would recommend them ALL. VERY tasty! They even gave us a complimentary dessert and bread because it was our first time trying Afghan food. Very much not necessary but greatly appreciated. We felt super welcome and would definitely go back :) Don’t miss out! Give it a try!”

Scotty received multiple awards from the county and state for his work, compassion and leadership helping people with Mental Health challenges. Scotty recently retired and was given a nice retirement event where members of his program and the community shared how helpful Scotty and Recaching Across had been in their recovery. Scotty still volunteers in the community by meeting members of Reaching Across and other organizations to support them. He also continues to work part time as a nurse. When Scotty isn't working as a nurse or volunteering he runs long distances and spends quality time with his immediate family including his son. I am honored to have worked with him for over 15 years.”
