“Great place to eat. It's not fancy nor a luxury place to eat but I love their tacos. The tacos here are the closest I have found to my hometown tacos in Mexico. Their customer service is supreme every time I took food to go or to dine in. If you are looking for tacos this is the place to go!!!”

“Come in to Timeless for pumpkin spice season!! Their pumpkin cheesecake is absolutely incredible and creamy and the pumpkin pie is very well made. Usually pumpkin spice lattes are much too sweet and taste artificial, but the one here is SO good. A thousand times better than Starbucks, one of the best pumpkin lattes I've had in my life. Right now for the season they're also selling a "spooky assortment" chocolate box, and the cafe is full of cute decorations. Also tried the double "twinkie". It was very sweet and dense, but it doesn't give that awful sugar rush typical of processed twinkies. The chocolates are pretty good too. I enjoyed that they sell electric kettles, brew grinders, filters, coffee press, glass dripper, mugs, tumblers, and chemex coffee makers.”

“The juicy beef burger was so good that I felt like I was in another world. Everything else stops existing. It was just me and my burger, and the warm crispy fries. Sid who got the fried chicken burger just repeated “it was so fresh; you can really taste the freshness “ for 30 minutes.”

“I have only gotten bubble tea from here, so I can't speak about their food, but I've been pretty happy with the bubble teas I've gotten from here. Lately, I've only gotten the taro milk tea (which comes with boba), partly because it's one that I can ask for no sugar and can have non-dairy milk options (for 50 cents). (I think the Thai milk tea, for example, only comes with regular sugar or extra sugar, which I don't want. I'd want a less sugar option, but I guess whatever mix they have for the Thai milk tea is already pre-sweetened.) I like being able to order on the kiosks - usually makes it less likely for there to be a misunderstanding about what I want. You can also order through the Snackpass app if you have it. You can specify the sweetness level and ice level, too, which is nice. And they you get a text when your drink is ready. The last couple times, my drink was ready much earlier than it originally estimated, which was nice. There are only four "classic" milk teas that have the boba included, and these aren't priced too bad. The others don't include boba so you have to add it as an extra for 50 cents, and they're more expensive drinks to begin with, so those end up being rather pricey ... so I haven't gotten them. But the boba texture is almost always perfect and the drink flavors pretty good. So, it's not bad for when I'm in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.”

“Sourdough French Toast? I was very skeptical but gosh it lived up to it's reputation! It had right amount of sweetness and was chewy (I was expecting it to be hard) Pork polenta was creamy and delicious. Could have had more pork on it though. The cocktails were all great! We had white linen, cypress and Bellini. Recommend all of them! They had Nosh donuts, which I didn't get to try this time, but on my list for next time. Service was good. We had asked for scrambled instead of poached eggs but ended up with poached anyway. We were hungry by the time it came so didn't bother sending it back.”

“I moved out of town and whenever I return Baha is a must stop for either the cajun fish wrap or fish burrito...or really anything on the menu. They never disappoint. Glad to see bluegrass jam is back on Saturday nights. Years ago during a jam, I was with my two little kids looking for a table, a guy sees my dilemma and offers me his table, I say thank you, and the person at the next table says "that was Ricky Henderson."”

“My first time checking out The Saint. I will definitely make this apart of my weekend no cooking routine. We ordered 4 sandwiches, 4 cookies, a bag of chips and a juicy hazy IPA. Awesome experience from the time I entered. Super friendly staff and sandwiches were made to perfection.”

“This place is awesome. Something about their dough keeps their thin crust pizza chewy and soft even when it's cooled off. Most other oven baked thin crust pizzas end up getting really tough when they cool off a bit, but this place is different. Only pizza my daughter has no problem eating. Also they give you fresh basil leaves on the side for all your orders. I've never seen that before and adding basil on pizza really has been growing on me. They are also very accommodating. They had 6 pizzas ready for me for at 12pm on the dot, which is when they actually open!”

“They make make good food here.. That's the best salmon sandwich that I've ever had. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because of the area. You tend to run into some unsavory characters here but the hosts are nice.”

“If you are an Ethiopian cuisine lover, please make an effort to visit this place. Possibly one of the best authentic Ethiopian food that I've had. Their spices and flavors are just right and bring a burst of flavors to your pallet. Their fish tibs is one of the best items in a the menu. The location is a plus, where you can stroll around the lake after the food. It's a must-visit place, and they are priced moderately.”

“Came for a quick drink and a light dinner. Had a cup of their tomato soup. Flavorful, perfect temperature: hot. Two toasts dunked in. I was craving a pineapple drink, nothing too sweet. My bartender suggested a drink and gave me a martini. It was perfect! Great staff.”

“I recently enjoyed a return visit to Cafe Dejena with a friend after morning Mass across the street at Sacred Heart Church. As usual the eatery was inviting - it was clean and tidy and sparkled in the morning sun. The glass shelves were filled with all kinds of yummy baked goods that helped to whet the appetite. But my mind and tummy had already settled pancakes and bacon which arrived piping hot very soon after I had placed the order. The pancakes were just the way I liked them fluffy and covered with butter and I found the syrup just as enjoyable with just the right amount of maple sweetness. The bacon was flavorful, though the slices were rather thin for my taste buds. Nevertheless I washed it all down with a robust cup of coffee. In addition to such American food classics this place is known for its eastern African fare, which I will leave others to comment on.”

“Everyone can make soft tofu soup but not everyone can make it just right. This place makes it just right. I make the soup myself at home and I can match some Korean restaurants but not this one. A good Korean soft tofu soup has a complex taste. It has so many layers. The ratio for the amount of soup and tofu has to be perfect. The meat can’t steal the show. Here, even the containers are right. They will burn your fingers long after you have finished eating. If it is easier to find parking, I would definitely come more often.”

“Great little find. Need signage on the hip Linden Street side. Grape and Pinapple Mix is great, not too sweet. Pastrami sandwich is good, but make sure you ask them to hold the jalapeños if you can't handle the heat. Love the brown paper bag. Wish they'd eliminate straws or charge for them.”

“This is Korean style Chinese food. The menu would look as if there are not many items on it like a normal Chinese restaurant but it's because it specializes in ZaZang Mien. There are many versions of this but Chef Yu's is pretty high on my list. All the other dishes is typical dishes that would go with the noodles. Enjoy.”

“I've been coming to this restaurant for years. When I first moved to Oakland, I got a job in the Fruitvale Plaza and during my breaks, I would come here for lunch. The food and service is top notch. I love the authenticity and vibes to this place. They recently renovated the place and it looks a little plain, but I was told that this is just the beginning and that they will have new artwork soon. The best part is if you can find parking, it's FREE! Stop by on your lunch break or happy hour sometime, you won't be disappointed.”

“A smaller Dunkin Donuts location with limited seating ( see photos), no drive thru and a congested (in my opinion) order section but on a good note it had a friendly staff! I personally prefer and larger seating area so you’re not on top of the next person but you can always get it to go!”

“The venue is okay, a bit shoddy in the light but the sound system is exceptional. The queue for drinks was very long the three times I was thirsty. The outdoor patio is exceptional”
