“Pretty good food! Love the salads and wings! It’s a great spot for take out but don’t expect to sit down and enjoy your meal inside, it’s not that kind of place as they have just a couple of seats and people in out for pickup. I repeat great salads and wings! Maybe my favorite take out in the the neighborhood.”

“The employees are super sweet ...making beautiful sandwiches by really putting some care into your order. They move through the line rapidly. Easy access and parking available.”

“Had a great experience here on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. Got a warmed up almond croissant that was lovely, and a quality cup of coffee to go with it. I also see that they have handmade baguettes for sale, which can be tough to find. Will be back for the handmade bread when I have some cheese at home to go with it!”

“This place is awesome! The staff are wonderful (beaming smiles and excellent conversation), the food is delicious, and the ambiance is perfect for relaxing after a long day. This was the second time my partner and I have gone here and we will definitely be going again! Get the grilled calamari, you won't regret it!”

“Food truck located on International next to the uhaul and in the parking lot of a tire shop. Went here while waiting for a Uhaul order. Ordered a chicken taco and chicken quesadilla. Flavors were delicious and I liked the use of shredded versus grilled chicken. They also used biodegradable plates. Nice outdoor seating. Definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood. I can handle pretty spicy salsas but, like most authentic Mexican food, I opted for the mild salsa here.”

“The tacos are like no other one even the the best tacos you have tasted. Try them and you will see how great they are. Only bad thing is that they start selling them are 5pm and there is always a crowd ready to eat. Enjoy”

“The food is awesome, authentic and the environment gives you that family feeling. I have had Vietnamese food before and this place ranks up with the best of them. Taste, quality and quantity is all there. The hostess/waitress was very nice and sweet. She took her time explaining the different dishes to make sure you pick exactly what you want. Because of her the restaurant gets a extra star in my book. Great job hostess/waitress!! 10/01/18”

“Bacon cheeseburger with fries and a rockstar. My go to on my lunch breaks when I'm working a 2minute walk from this place. Its ran by an older couple who are very kind and accommodating to your requests.”

“Hidden gem of Oakland. It’s intimate, homey and incredibly delicious. The glittering string lights out front clued me in to the magic waiting inside. There can be a wait, but it’s worth it. Food is authentic and interesting—get the angel wings for an explosion of gluttony—but stay for everything else. It’s very reasonably priced too, especially given that I usually leave with lots of leftovers.”

“The family run place makes the friend food really good the bread toasted and right amount on a blt. The smoothies taste really good as well as the right amount of fries. Will definitely come again. Perfect for a business meeting too.”

“Great place for sushi, rolls & other Japanese dishes. Prices are what you would expect for Japanese restaurants. Come Monday-Friday for lunch specials. The rib eye teriyaki bowl was delicious - good amount of delicious beef to justify the price ($15), the nigiri sushi was fresh and thick, with a little bit of rice underneath. Definitely must try if you are in the area. They have a nice courtyard for outside seating too. Nice staff.”

“I travel quite often so I do tend to try a lot of the airport food. Firewood cafe served pizza, pasta, salad. sandwiches and more. We ordered the pesto pizza and got a couple of Cobb salads. That Cobb salad was awesome! The lettuce was crisp and tasted so fresh. The pesto pizza was delightful! It actually went well with the salad. This might be one of the best airport foods I’ve tried in a awhile.”

“An awesome new find. The happy hour deals are on point, the drinks (especially the whiskey) are incredible, and the staff is absurdly friendly. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich.”

“Grandpa Approval The chicken served has thin skin and no underlined fat and tender meat at very reasonable price. Very clean table settings, spotless plates, bowls, even sauces bottles. Sprouts served after roots are removed. The steam rice rolls or banh cuon is excellent. The rice sheet is soft but not braking into paste, sign of quality. The fish sauce is little more on the sweet side and light in salt side. One can adjust to own taste. Parking is a challenge but worthy the Parking effort. Food at this price they deserve five stars in terms of value and quality.”

“One of the best date night vegan / vegetarian restaurant in Oakland area. This is type of restaurant in which you don’t know what you are eating but it always tastes fresh and yummy. Even their free freshly baked bread and spread tasted really delicious. Date with pistachio as appetizer was yummy. Risotto cake and tamales as main entree was great and enough serving size. We will definitely go again.”

“Always super quick and delicious. Highly recommend the spicy tuna, salmon, or spicy pork rice triangles. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and they're fairly generous filling the triangles - the salmon has always been cooked to perfection, and the spicy tuna is served in cubes like poke rather than finely-ground, so you can really tell it's good stuff. And did I mention they're really quick? It's like fast food speed but with fresh, delicious food.”

“Been going here for 6yrs and have never been disappointed. Staff are always friendly, sushi/sashimi dishes are always fresh, my favorite is the crazy monkey roll. Kids love the sushi boat experience; pick from 5 different price levels based on plate color. This will always be our neighborhood sushi place...”

“Lively crowd and big screens for watching the game. Huge selection of fresh better on tap. Modern pub food that's both creative and satisfying. Friendly wait staff. Squirrels. What's not to love!”
