This has been the first time I have ever had to use PG Fire Protection, and I can tell you as a property Manager, they have been EXTREAMLY helpful. I Specifically spoke and worked with Dan. He was Outstanding, and went above and beyond to insure that this was hassle free for me. He dealt with the City, all the calls, permits, EVERYTHING! I was honestly shocked. and before I knew it.. both my backflows were replaced, and working wonderfully! Not to mention that they were Significantly cheaper than other companies I investigated such as Aquatech. I will happy recommend them to anyone. As we all know property management is the biggest, little industry there is.
This is from Grant Paulson and I am the President and Owner of GP Fire Protection. There is usually two side to every story and here is the truthful side. What Ryan states in the first paragraph is true, for the rest here is the true side. I was first told there was I believe 11" of water in the room, that went down to 7" then 3" and the finally said actually it was 1". Just a small portion of the wood floor was damaged. Because it was discontinued they supposedly had to replace the whole floor since they couldn't get the wood flooring any more. What Ryan conviently does not mention is the Conference Room was built without a Permit which is not legal, they have told the Landlord they would provide a Permit and have not done so, and the Landlord even paid for the original Sprinkler work.
Also he didn't even mention the Company (Contractor's Wholesale) he works for which kind of tells you the kind of people I'm dealing with.I made a site visit and saw what little damage there was. I got on the phone with the owner on Monday or Tuesday (not Ryan who I'm not sure if he is the Secrectary or what but curious why the owner is not making the complaint instead of him since he has no financial interest in the matter) The owner told me they had this huge meeting on Saturday, I was going to go through my insurance, he couldn't wait that long so he brought up making the two installment payments not me. To help him out I agreed to pay half up front and the other half at the end of the month since the repairs were going to be made that week. Ryan was never involved in the phone and is making false statements. I was not belligerent on the phone, Ryan actually hung up on me twice when I told him I would pay when the repairs were done. Ryan also kept on quoting how when you get in a Car accident the insurance pays you up front without the repairs being made, (not how I do things). Very Sad and Pathetic that people like this exist that want to profit off an accident that was from a defective fiitting which I have no control of and also have to be dishonest about it. And for the Record, I have been in Business for 12 Years without one complaint ever being filed, I Inspect over 300 Buildings and this is a first and this is what I get for trying to help these guys out and not going through my insurance (which also has never had a claim against it) So enough said, I'll post though what the Contractor's Board and BBB have to say about it, GP
