(October 10, 2018, 11:45 am)Beautiful little spot about 3.5 miles from the Little Yosemite trail head. The first two miles along the fire road are easy, but the last 1.5 miles climb pretty aggressively, so be ready for a workout. This is one of several backpacking camps clustered along the Ohlone Wilderness trail before it starts making its climb to Rose Peak and, ultimately, Del Valle in Livermore. The westward views are beautiful and there is water (needs to be boiled or purified) and an outhouse nearby. We had a great time!
