“I went on Thursday evening around 4pm when they just opened . I ordered Chicken Pizza Masala as it is their best seller & minty cheese bread. I asked if they can make the pizza not spicy as my kid doesn't eat spicy food and the cashier said they'll make it mild. The wait time was about 20 minutes for my order. When I got home, we devoured the pizza right away as they smelled so good! The crust was not thick nor thin but it was soft yet the bottom was crispy - super good! The toppings (red onion, tomato & chicken) tasted really fresh. I was expecting the 'mild' to be a bit spicy but it was not spicy at all and my kid loves it (he usually doesn't want onion on his pizza but he ate all the toppings this time!). The minty cheese bread is my favorite! It was such a clever flavor combination to a boring cheese pizza. The mint gave a bit of kick and brightness to the bread. I will definitely order it again.”

“We met up with friends for lunch and drinks at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, La Piñata in Fremont. Started with chips, salsa and a pitcher of margaritas for about the first 15 minutes while we chatted and got caught up with recent events. Lunch entrees were enchiladas, a super burrito and a super famoso burrito, which was a “wet” super burrito. They were good but the entree that everyone loved was the Caldo 7 Mares. This was a true seafood soup with half a crab, mussels, scallops, octopus/calamari fish and vegetables. The soup base was full of flavor with just enough of a little spice to it.”

“I have had a ton of bad experiences lately with pizza places. This Little Caesars has renewed my faith in pizza places. First the service was terrific. The guy at the front was very friendly and helpful. I had questions and he gladly helped me out. He went out of his way to try to get me the best deal on the food I was getting. The food was ready quickly and the quality was great. I asked for special instructions on my pizzas and he gladly did it and did it well. The environment was great and it’s the kind of place that I would gladly wait a little extra time if it was busy. All around I would highly recommend this Little Caesars.”

A business associate brought us here for dinner and we had the Bolani filled with potatoes & one with Leeks as appetizers. They were not only tasty but most importantly not greasy. For the main entrees we had the Kabuli rice Which is rice with shredded carrots and raisins. I’m not a rice fan so the fact I went for a 3rd portion is incredible in itself. The next entree was a platter of kebabs, Which included the grilled Chicken Tikka. The Beef Kebab (Grilled sirloin) again not something I go for at Afghan/Persian restaurants but, this was so soft I could cut with my fork. The next grilled meat was like a Persian Koobedieh or Kafta kebab but with flavor and not bland. The last meat was a Chapli Kebab which is a flattened beef kebab that was also on the Money. Even the green chutney was not too spicy. I have eaten at Afghan restaurants in London, NYC & the Bay Area and can truly say I have found my new favorite to go for Afghan food.”

“When we want bbq ducks, we come here to get them, but they also have bbq duck wonton noodles that’s inexpensive and quite tasty. We think this has new owner because most of the old workers no longer there or at least we don’t see them. Before COVID we could sit down and have a very nice and inexpensive dinner with the family when we didn’t want to cook. The kids would order bbq duck with rice and I and my wife would order roasted duck noodles soups. My son loves the wonton noodles here since he doesn’t like roasted duck much. Everyone is happy when we sit down here. Now, there’s no dine in, only to go. Last week we decided to order to go, although we don’t believe in to go soups because by the time we got home it’s no longer hot. Anyhow, the BBQ duck and wonton were still tasty, the noodles cooked just right although the soup didn’t taste as good as before but still good. The price went up as everything else but still cheaper than a bowl of pho or any other soup bowls out there.”

“Anytime I see a "Chinese Bakery" that serves any kind of savory treats, especially dim sum, I always make the time to check it out. This nondescript bakery, in "Manor Square" a mall in San Leandro, did not really impress, but it's didn't really disappoint either. One thing I noticed is that a lot of the "dim sum" looks the same, because it has the same lightly baked golden brown bun around it. But it doesn't taste the same! I got the classic BBQ pork bun, the "Five flavor burger" and the "Chicken Bow", and for dessert the classic sweet bean ball with chewy texture. all four items cost about $3.86 While I tore off most of the bun, (too much bread for my taste) it did occur to me that for even $2 someone can go here and get enough to not go hungry that day, so for cheap eats this place is great. I am told they have more available that I did not get to try, because they were sold out. My photo is on the dash of my car, (Sorry. Bag tore and I had no plate) but you will get a basic idea of the things I got, and the buns they come in. (That really didn't sound right) P.”
