Fresh renovated rooms, everything new and clean and impeccable, I loved wooden ceilings and huge windows facing beautiful forest. Amazing very hospitable and attentive crew, they treat you like family! There is a nice restaurant with pool tables and good food and drinks. Short drive (under an hour) from Kirkwood, and tons of amazing places nearby! We loved Black Chasm Caverns (less than 10 minutes away and home to some super rare structures - only 2 caverns in the US have them!).”

“We recently had an amazing two-night stay at this charming ranch with our 7-month-old baby and two reactive dogs. One of the highlights of our stay was the fun animal activities organized by Cyndi and Troy. Despite our initial concerns about our reactive dogs, they went above and beyond to ensure a smooth introduction between our dogs and the resident animals. Our son, although cautious, was fascinated by the animals, and the activities kept him engaged throughout. The animals were all well-cared for and loved. Cyndi captured numerous pictures and videos of our interactions with the animals, which was an absolute treat. It's true what they say - if you don't have pictures, did it really happen? We are grateful for these memories. For our reactive dogs, the fully fenced property and hiking trails were a dream come true. They had plenty of space to roam and burn off energy. One tip for future visitors with active dogs would be to bring dog boots, as one of our dogs injured his paws while chasing small animals. It was a minor incident, but we learned our lesson for the next visit. The house itself was clean, spacious, and provided all the comforts we needed. While the wifi could be slow at the night, we had no issues with video calls during the day. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway with their dogs in a beautiful rural setting!”

“Been going here for over 15 years and love it more each time. This place is a must for anyone seeking fun family atmosphere. What a great place to bring your kids or grandkids to reconnect with nature without electronics. Not just for kids though, Anyone loving to camp, gold pan, throw a fishing line in or just kick back and listen to the water go by will love it. I highly recommend the Saturday night BBQ and guarantee once you visit, you will return. Family owned and operated will make you feel right at home.”

“Clean Campground and RV hookups. My parents came up and stayed a week and they're 41 ft RV with a tow behind and had no problem parking. They got a miniature golf course for the kids a water park in the summertime with fountains and splash stuff to play with but no slides. Staff was friendly and Lake taboo is just down the street for a peaceful day fishing.”
