“Pretty good outdoor store given the it's size and the community it's based in. If you want to hit the trail or the lifts, and need to resupply on the basics, you may find what your are looking for most of the time. Here you will find mostly clothing and apparel. That being said, the folks here are always friendly, they know their audience and what sells in our tourist town that gets overrun by flatlanders every season. You'll find some of the basics, but may not find everything you need to spend some time in the backcountry.”

“Found ourselves in the snow storm in Sierra foothills. My husband is a Supervisor in our local Municipality. He was on call, roads closed, blocked, our power out. We made a decision to go to our local hotel at least for that night. Ken at Shenandoah Inn, was amazing, took excellent care and when power was still out the next day, needing the room again, Ken made sure we were well taken care of again. We evacuated during the Caldor Fire, Ken took excellent care of us, the fire crews and other evacuees. If you need too, or if you're traveling, I highly recommend the Shenandoah Inn, call the hotel directly, talk to Ken.”

Aukum, River Pines and the surrounding communities. Jan & Rene were wonderful hosts and with their friends and helpers made it a memorable experience. It was an opportunity to sample a coming Barbera along with the other wines they produce. It's a welcoming spot to stop and visit when you're in the sierra foothills.”
