My fiance and I are planning our wedding here (Wedgewood Weddings partners with the Nines Restaurant) and every time we come by for a planning meeting we come eat at the Nines Restaurant. In particular we as always hope to see the bartender Jeff; whenever we stop in he gives us superb service, going above and beyond. The Wakame for a mere $4 was enough for two as was the spicy Edamame for not much more. The salmon sashimi combination was a full meal in itself and the salmon was excellent in terms of taste and texture. The Misaka roll is popular for a reason and is an explosion of taste if you can handle a little wasabi and take a whole piece at once. We are world travelers and quite discerning when it comes to restaurant food. This one is a keeper!”

“Moved from San Francisco to Antioch, CA in 2020. We could not find an authentic taqueria out in the Antioch area until we found Taquiza Limon! They are the best ever, we have tried everything on the menu. The staff is friendly and very helpful with suggestions on trying new items. Very clean restaurant when dining in and quick with delivering if buying through an app. I purchased this plater for Valentine’s Day 2022 and they personally delivered it! “First time here, and while the food was delicious and interesting to watch the FRESH tortillas be made, not one of the employees were even smoking which is not a good sign of a business practice to have unhappy employees. We try to add value to people that don't smile by trying to joke around and finally got the girl ringing us up to crack a smile at the end. So has to be -1 ⭐. But the quesabirria tacos with the dip was AMAZING! My husband loved putting the dip on top of his California Burrito (that has the delicious type of crunchy french fries in it) 🌯 Price value was slightly high, especially for the lack of customer friendliness (felt like we were almost in the way for the ordering part), but the beautiful weather made the outside porch very pleasant as the sun set!”

“Lunchtime didn't have much of a wait, but if you have a smaller sized group, the tables hold 10 so they'll seat you with another group -- just get chummy & friendly! Salmon, chicken & garlic rice were the biggest hits. Daughter loved the scallops. Chef was amazing and fun, but servers were busy even with a not-busy restaurant...a few reminders for drink refills. Increase in prices was sharp, but plenty of rice at least. The chef "show" might be worth coming again, for a birthday.”

“I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything is fresh and made right in front of the customers. I tried to get a picture of their fresh cut up items in the refrigerator but it was in the back by the cooks and sort of sideways to me. I will post the picture and you can trust me that everything in there was freshly cut and about to go into the food being served. I was also pleasantly surprised at the prices. I split a "plate" with my husband and it was only $10.49. It was plenty of food! They give generous servings! I will definitely be back!”

“If I could give this place a higher than 5 star review I would. The farm to table experience is nothing short of spectacular. The food is always fresh, the staff warm and welcoming and the cocktail of the month is a delightful surprise always made with local in season ingredients. You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. Always ask what the catch of the day is and their rotating dessert choices. Minor complaint is that when it’s fully booked, the indoor seating does get very loud. No matter that observance, this place has got it all. Absolutely incredible all around.”

“Got take out here multiple times. I was confused at first why a Japanese Restaurant serve Chinese dishes but after trying their Mongolian Beef why not. My husband said the Mongolian beef is the best he ever tried and we honestly tried a lot in our time. The selection of food can be overwhelming at first. But I just call it infusion restaurant. I had their vegetable tempera and their California roll it was good. The chef is definitely talented. I would recommend this place. Again I order take out and never actually sat inside so I can’t say anything about the customer service.”
