“this is a great park with a fantastic baseball field and some pretty cool local teams that welcome you to come and play baseball here. If baseball is not your game then there are some great hikes not far away and a kids play structure is another added bonus.”

“I came in through the F street entrance next to Alhambra High School. Entrances can be hard to find so plan your trip ahead of time. The F Street entranceis a strenuous climb. When you get to the plateau, things become easier. This is a beautiful walk that for me started in the trees. Once on the plateau, you are in grazing lands with cows. Yes, there was a cow very close to me with no fence between us. It watched me but did nothing. The view is spectacular. You can go towards the coast or towards the Muir house. I had found the walk in 90 degree heat enough when I got to the plateau. I did see a deer, within 15 feet. Not a bad walk, it would be nicer on a cooler day.”

Address: 2537 Reliez Valley Rd, Martinez, CA 94553, USA
“Over 6,000 acres of meandering trails through woodland, hillside and meadows. Parking is ample, rest rooms and picnic tables are available. Biking, horseback riding, hiking, walking the dog, picnicking, playing in the creek, enjoying the views and appreciating nature easily accessible from the freeway. Go at your own pace-fast and strenuous or laid back and relaxed- stay for an hour or spend the day.”

“This place is beautiful. We went on a small walk here and didn't see anyone else out on our walk. I don't think a lot of people know about this place. It has about 4 different trails ”

“A wonderful collection of local trails that often go unnoticed by hikers and bikers. I often hike these trails with little or no contact with other people. Lots of cattle are out here though, so maintain your distance and don’t get yourself trampled because you decided it was a good idea to approach one of them.”
