We read a lot of dive center reviews before following a recommendation to try Scuba Shack for our Advanced Open Water certification. We are EXTREMELY happy to have dived with them! Stefan, the owner, is great. Excellent communication before our trip to Koh Tao and he has a great team. Our AOW was over the course of three days (we chose the buoyancy course instead of a night dive). Our instructor, Gasper “G,” gave us a lot of great tips and help throughout our five dives. Sail Rock was one of the highlights of our travels. If in Koh Tao, call Scuba Shack for courses or just for fun dives! We can’t wait to return and dive with them again.

Kevin was a great and very patient instructor! Their pool is also great for practice and also the exam. After the 2 day at the Ancho Shack, I went to Indonesia and got my PADI 😊👌

My wife and I completed our academic and pool session portions of our Open Water certification with Mycol at Anchor Shack. He and the other staff we interacted with were great to work with, professional and able to customize the experience to our needs and schedule. The training was completed at a comfortable pace and was a great segue into our open water dives, which we completed on our vacation in Hawaii. I recommend Anchor Shack as a good place to get started; we will be back to book some local dives and continued training with them for sure. Thank you!
